We stayed in Honeysuckle Cottage and Jacobswell House across the Christmas/New Year holiday and we had a great time. The location was scenic and quiet with easy access to the people and places we wished to visit. The properties were spacious and very comfortable. Both were extremely well equipped, comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean. The many thoughtful extra touches were appreciated too - including the welcoming nightlights!
The property managers were most helpful and responsive at initial contact and throughout our stay. This was much appreciated by us - a great holiday cottage service!
It's a lovely place and we were sad to leave at the end of our stay.
Would not hesitate to return and recommend to others.

I was lucky enough to win a 2 night stay in February this year and arranged to stay in October, we got a lovely email to say out cottage had been upgraded and we were to stay in Wheatlands Cottage. We didn’t look it up beforehand so when we arrived we were all blown away by this wonderful cottage!! The space is amazing and I would imagine very accessible as there was wide hallways and doors and a wet room on the ensuite, I also saw a ramp tooked away!!|The quality matched the views and we were delighted and would recommend any of the cottages on this lovely peaceful site,

Lovely place , handy for all beauty spots , metro & newcastle city centre & shopping . Plus next to a19 & a1 can go anywhere quickly including north shields quays & ferries great laces ! Love it !

Had a wonderful week in Jacobswell House recently. The house and its facilities were fantastic. The location is wonderfully quiet and safe for kids, not far from lots of great places. Wouldn't hesitate to book again!

We could not have chosen a better place to stay as a large group travelling to a family wedding near Newcastle. |The cottages were lovely - spacious, warm and welcoming. They were extremely well equipped and we were so pleased to be able to bring our dogs too. Plenty of lovely walks and places nearby to explore. |We all had a wonderful time. I can highly recommend! Lovely house, recently decorated and spotless throughout. Well equipped and with great gardens front and back. You have everything you could need within half an hour.

Brilliant short stay in Pele cottage. Extremely comfortable and well equipped. One of the best cottages we've stayed in. Easy to book and communicate with Lucy. Great location for us (visiting daughter nearby) but easy access to newcastle and the coast by car.

Outstanding quality! Friendly service and beautiful place in a lovely setting. Easy driving distance to the coast, and farm walks outside the front door. We had a fantastic 97th birthday celebration in the larger accessible cottage. Wonderful. Our second stay and I've already booked again
