Can't fault the staff on their helpfulness and manner. The rooms are fine and simply furnished. There's a fridge, TV and kettle. It's the shared facilities where they let themselves down. There is only one shower and one toilet between about 8 rooms. I was lucky that there was only one other person staying there at the time. The shower was also dirty and in need of updating. For the money though it was good value and I would stay here again if in the area, unless I can find anything better value.

We arrived to find the place locked up and no-one there. We phoned and someone arrived quickly. They just leave you the key and a code to get in the front door then disappear again. We had a triple room for the two of us which had plenty space. But the decor and furnishings were old and tired. The toilet and shower were shared but luckily there was no-one else staying there. And they do not do breakfast though there is a microwave in the room. We slept fine and it was quiet though that was because we were the only ones there. Ended up having breakfast in tesco about ten-fifteen minutes walk. Not a homely bed and breakfast at all but just about did the job for us.

This place was filthy and only for the fact we were up for a wedding, we wouldn't have stayed there. This guest house is situated on a housing estate.||We were met at the door by a woman who gave us a code to access the property. She showed us to our room then left. There was no one else on site throughout our stay and we were advised if we needed them, to give them a call. Being two women, we felt very vulnerable staying there on our own. Initially the room appeared to be ok. On closer inspection we found the place to be filthy, a microwave with a faulty door and food splatters from a previous guest. The curtain rail fell down when closing the curtains, there were finger marks all over the windows, the carpets hadn't been hoovered ( layer of dust around the edges). There was a tear in one of the bed covers. We were told tea and coffee was provided. A jar of coffee and a pint of milk was left out but no tea was provided. Although there was a mouldy tea bag left in the bin with other rubbish in the bathroom. The shared shower room on the landing was full of grime and mould, ( not just a small amount) and the sink was dirty. I took photos. Wish I could put them on here. The separate toilet had no sink to wash your hands. The doors were dirty with finger marks all over the door handles. ||There were holes in the landing and shower room walls and the plaster was crumbling. There were dirty towels wrapped around water pipes in the shower room. I could go on.||I did complain the following morning and was advised we would be refunded 50% of our stay! but this never happened.||I contacted the owner again only to be told we had caused damage to the room. Unbelievable!||I urge anyone who has had a bad stay here to contact the site they have booked it through ( as well as leaving a review ), as they keep all complaints on record.

This is more of a hostel than a guest house, no on-suite one bathroom with shower & sink for 8 rooms, separate room for toilet which has no sink in. The room we stayed in had 3 single beds and no wardrobe. There was a camera outside the room so I needed to get dressedto use the loo through the night, and they charge ÂŖ50.00 for this!! Daylight robbery...

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet. Cooking your own food in the room is allowed and tv was large and new. I moved here from another hotel in the area and this one is worth every penny and much quieter, so got a better sleep.

I stayed there for roughly 2 weeks and nice cozy stay. Its a bit compact but then with all the amenities and accessibility. TESCO is just nearby (10 mins walk) and good silent place. The hosts were also quite good.

Shockingly bad, don't even bother visiting unless you are homeless & need 'emergency' accommodation, which is obviously all this place is set up for... third world one star accommodation...||||I didn't stay, this was booked for me by a local company as my 'usual' hotel was fully booked. I was already feeling uneasy by the reviews & photo's, this wasn't helped when I pulled up outside... trust me, the inside is worse! Having been showed the 'shared' shower & toilet 'facilities', I let the lady know it wasn't the kind of place I could stay in. I didn't see the room, I'd seen enough by this point.
