So I booked this accommodation for a 5 night stay as I was on a course. I have to say I was very disappointed with the accommodation overall. The room was very small with a toilet and sink in a seperate room, the shower was in the bedroom. WiFi was non existent. 1 night stay maybe ok any longer I wouldn't bother. It was clean but in need of modernisation. I was originally going to stay a second week but I was that depressed in the small room in week 1 I couldn't bring myself to stay there again.

Half way between the airport and Manchester, it is ideal when your flight arrives late at night. Easy to find because it is well situated. The owners, Peter and his wife, are charming and very helpful. The room is comfortable and well equipped (TV, tea and coffee facilities, shower and washbasin, though the toilet has to be shared). The breakfast (full English) was good. The house has the taste of traditional British details. For lovers of the genuine. |

Booked late after finishing work for the day, for a meeting arranged for the following day. The guest house was conveniently located, met my needs with parking, and supplied a lovely breakfast. The room itself had a door out to the street, but contained shower and bathroom. WiFi worked nicely and tea and coffee facilities were available. Great for the price.

Stayed at this B&B in October for a business trip. Room was basic but very clean and had everything you would need; shower, tv, kettle, free WiFi and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was also included had the choice of full English & cereals. The lady was lovely very friendly, I would definitely recommend & return for anymore business trips!

I booked my room at short notice for 2 nights. Contacted the Guest House because I was working nights and needed to be in a quiet area of the if reasonably possible. The staff were extremely helpful with this.||I also had to speak to the staff during my stay due to the exigencies of my work. Peter was excellent in resolving my issue and also (because of his experience working with business guests?) was very quick to offer contingencies.||I will definitely book again when I return to the area.

I booked for one night and arrived quite late due to the road being closed due to an accident. I was welcomed and checked in, and then the gentleman disappeared before I could say anything about the room itself. I was allocated to a single room with ensuite facilities. It was very dingy and without much light. The furnishings were very dated and the shower temperamental. This is a very basic guesthouse but isn't even up to the standard of a Premier Inn. Breakfast was served at 7.30am even though it appeared I was their own guest staying. I was very disappointed given what other reviewers had said previously. I don't plan to return anytime soon.

The Butterfly Guest House is near Cheadle Hulme outside of Manchester. The B and B is in a quiet area. The 42b bus leaves from near the Guest House and takes you to the centre of Manchester in under and hour. |The Guest House is basic, it is 2 Star, but for a cheap rate you get a small room with a clean and comfortable bed, private shower amenities ( though small), tea and coffee making, TV, free parking and free wifi - you need nothing more. The breakfast was included with the rate and with cereal, toast, bacon and eggs and loads of tea/coffee, what more do you want. |The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, they printed tickets for a football match out for me. |Thus I think for what you pay this guest house is very good value for money.
