Classic British cafe, great menu, excellent food prepared like your mum had made it in her kitchen.
Very good value for money and very friendly staff, only downside for me is that I live 160 miles away otherwise I'd be eating there every day.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Butties to anyone who loves home cooking at bloody excellent prices, definitely worth a visit.

Today, had an omelette very nice, then asked for a cheese & onion cob to take out, i checked it very sparce on the cheese & next to no onion as so fine, i asked for a bit more onion please? That'll be an extra 50p no! that's taking the micky! When they'd already charged £3.50, then the kid there say's oh! I'll close the door..seriously don't shout it just do it. I would never go there again over/priced n' he needs educating in manners 👎

I’m not a fan of greasy spoon cafes, but I do appreciate they serve a purpose. They feed and water our ladies and gents that build our ever changing infrastructure. They’re familiar, convenient and unpretentious.
The prices on Butties Cafe’s extensive menu are exceptional. I just hope thought has been put into where food is sourced (local first). And the prices are a reflection of high customer turnover.

Visited here with some colleagues whilst dropping a few things off at Minworth for the day.

Had a brilliant English Breakfast, so we returned again for a takeaway and took some delicious Fish & Chips with Mushy Peas on the way back.

Service was great and we were very well looked after.

Good food, good prices. A traditional "caff" on the Minworth industrial estate. Family owned and run. All day breakfast plus all the usual at very generous prices with friendly service. Tends to be busy prior to usual lunchtimes.
