On arrival we were greeted with Brenda's homemade carrot cake and tea. Immediately it became apparent how welcoming and friendly both Brenda and John are. The room could not have been better presented. Even the toilet was sealed for cleanliness. Brenda recommended places to eat. We visited a beautiful village in the Tamar Valley called Calstock. The breakfast choice was extensive and gorgeously presented. The English breakfast comprised of locally sourced produce and was delicious. We stayed for a number of days at this lovely place. The room was kept beautifully clean: even the kettle was topped up for us. There is a Cornish pasty company in the grounds and these are scrumptious. However, apart from Brenda and John making us feel so welcome, the highlight for us was Jewson. What does a chicken say?

Our first view of Cadson Manor told us we had made a good choice, but when Brenda appeared, welcoming us almost as old friends, our good jumped to excellent. Four nights later, we were ready to book again for another visit. Presentation of rooms, breakfast etc was stunning and Brenda's fun attitude was relaxed, while her continuous determination to give us a super B&B experience didn't stop.||So, what made it great? Brenda and John, Jewson the parrot, amazing breakfast and comfortable, but very stylish decor. Highly recommended.

On arrival it was apparent that we would become a integral part of Brenda and John's fantastic Manor House, with a unbelievable location combined with stunning views across the Cornwall countryside. The accommodation was second to none. The attention to detail brought back fond memories when I worked for Hilton International. Brenda supported by John are absolutely great people with a unique personality, they make you feel you are a part of the family. The Breakfast dinning table is unbelievable supported by a fabulous Breakfast menu, and the quality and presentation is second to none. My wife and I visit Devon and Cornwall once a year, I can only hope we can be accommodated by Breda when we visit that area. Breda and John many thanks for making our stay one that will always cherish. Tony

We enjoyed a peaceful comfortable 3 night stay in this beautiful small manor house situated in beautiful grounds. Every part of the house was beautifully decorated and clean. On arrival we were very warmly welcomed by Brenda and enjoyed a very much appreciated tea and cakes, including a choice of gluten free cakes.in the lounge.||Breakfast was a gourmet’s joy, beautifully cooked and presented, and my gluten free needs were catered for.||John and Brenda were so friendly and easy to chat with and their pet parrot Jewson was a happy extra entertainment. We hope to return again soon.

We stayed here for 3 nights and can thoroughly recommend it. It really did feel like home from home. The bed was really comfortable and there were so many toileties supplied in the bathroom that we really needn't have taken much with us at all. There were even dressing gowns and slippers in the wardrobe to use if needed. As for the tea making faciltiies - well you are spoilt for choice as there are all the teas imaginable to choose from! Brenda is so welcoming too. Besides all the cereals, fruit, yogurts, etc, etc, on offer her cooked breakfasts are excellent. We were certainly full when we left for our days out! We intend to return here next year. If we could have given Brenda 10 stars we woukld have!!

Three of us stayed on a cycle tour through Devon and Cornwall. We found a delightful hostess anxious to please and comfortable accommodation in a traditional small manor house. We could not have been better or more nicely received with tea on arrival and a high quality and flexible breakfast. I would stay again.
