Stunning flight of locks even on a dull day. Easy walk up and down the footpath with a nice little well priced cafe at the top. Wonderful watching the locks in action.

This car park is accessed by navigating nearly a thousand sturdy speed humps on a single track road. It's very handy for the Caen flight which provides a delightful short walk around some industrial transport history with a great view, and the café is not bad either. Three quid to park until midnight as of late 2024. There is no height limit to access.

Well maintained car park accessed by a long, narrow and speed bumpy road. The car park costs £4 per day (June 2025) with no option to pay less for shorter time. The payment machine takes cards. There's a few benches near the car park if you want a picnic. No bins available. Café nearby.

Pay on arrival and then a short walk to the locks. Worth a visit if in the area. This is past historic transport methods and a fear of civil engineering to get barges up and down a hill. 45 locks brilliant to see and still in use.

£3 all day is great, and the parking machine accepts contactless (we always forget this, so this review is for my own benefit!). Lack of public toilets (other than the café) is less ideal, especially with small children. We've never had trouble parking here. Some of the parking places look out over the locks, so if you wanted you could even eat your lunch in the car and watch the boats.

30 plus locks with a wide bumpy gravel towpath. Carpark is £3 for the day including free disabled parking. Small cafe does hot and cold drinks, sandwich, pasties, cake ect, and is dog friendly, opens 10.30, shuts around 3pm.

Bloody awful parking payment machine. You can only pay by mobile phone when it is out of order and impossible to download the app (no phone signal). At the nearby cafe it was possible to call the number, but took forever to pay for parking!!! Find somewhere else to park, like the pub along side the canal a little way up from the cafe.

Lots of parking for £3.00 Great for a walk. Nice to watch the boats go through the locks. Good pubs for a bite to eat nearby and Ice cream
