Top 5 meal of my life. If not #1.

Everything was perfect. You can really tell they care about the experience. Owned and operated by a wonderful family. The mother and father have God given talent for food and Steven the son and his cousin (forgot her name) were gracious hosts.

Everything. Was. Cooked. Perfect.

Best flat bread of my life. The prawns were cooked in a butter base that was unforgettable. So much flavor, I didn't know shrimp could taste that good. The pizza was fantastic. The baklava was heavenly. My family raved about it for the remainder of the trip.

We had a lovely evening here last night. The service was fantastic as always and the food was excellent (I recommend the Mezze starter and the mixed grill special, sharing main course). What a wonderful place I only wish we lived closer. The decor and atmosphere are welcoming and the food was yet again some of the best I’ve had. I will definitely be back.

I recently came here for a late valentines meal with my girlfriend and it was superb. The service was excellent and we were last in and felt welcome to the end. The food was utterly delicious, my main of mixed meat and the sauce was the best I’ve had this year and my girlfriend adored her mousakka. I would (and have) recommend here to try for some delightful Greek food. I look forward to coming back one day again!

Café Byzantium is something of a hidden gem, as nestled away in the unassuming location of a country park is this restaurant offering genuinely exceptional Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food.

The indoor dining area is cosy yet elegant, and the large outdoor area provides the opportunity for some al fresco dining in the warmer weather.

It is well worth the trip out to Monikie to visit Café Byzantium!
