Great breakfast, first visit and I’d go back! Did what it needed to do! Had the mushrooms, don’t really see the issue ?

Been going for a few years. Never a bad experience. Good food and good service. Owner is a lovely person and his regulars quite well.

If you’re looking for a decent greasy spoon, I highly recommend Cafe 8.

AVOID this place. I asked for the Full English as it comes but they added mushrooms to my order for £1.80(!) and neglected to tell me this beforehand. The server/owner was rude and refused to take off the charge. The food was pretty rubbish and tasteless too, the only good bit was the hashbrowns which are probably store-bought and frozen

Always been good, and it's improved. Even more items on the breakfast menu, both healthy and less so. Big portions. Lovely staff (though beware the upsell) and amazing accessibility for such a small place - staff see a wheelchair approaching and open doors and shift chairs without being asked. It even has a full accessible loo!
