I bought a PG tips cup of tea and a pain au raisin for breakfast after a long overnight train journey and it cost me £6.09. The bacon and sausage rolls looked anemic and uncooked so I couldn’t bring myself to get the breakfast deal which would have been slightly cheaper at £5. Uncomfortable chairs to sit on too. Not impressed.

Always make a purchase when taking trains from platform 5 but this morning’s experience is poor. Small cappuccino is not hot at all. It taste like coffee with a dash of cold milk. No chocolate sprinkles and customer service is disappointing. If the staff is not happy to work there, it is so obvious 😂

There is no one who can brighten up your morning better than Jane! 🌞 Service with a smile and she always remembers what you like to drink. When the cafe closed for refurb, the early morning train station stop just wasnt the same. Jane is the heart of Cafe Local.

Stopped at this cafe while waiting for our other train and was served by an absolutely lovely lady named Tracy. She managed to make my drink with the little supply she had and didn’t make me feel like a burden for ordering it. I later spilled my drink where Tracy kindly cleaned up the spill after I said that I would clean it up myself. After this she can up to me with a freshly made drink (which she didn’t have to do at all) and gave it to me for free. Extremely happy with this service and if I ever find myself in Crewe again I will be coming back to this station cafe.

I purchased a coffee extraordinary expensive and unbelievably they charged me 79p additional for soya costing £4.89
What a rip off , and this was a small coffee, rest of food was also costing the same prices as being in London

Great convenient coffee shop. Always use it when travelling through and have a short break. Always plenty of seats and tables to relax at. Staff really friendly too. Nothing worse than a sad face but thankfully not had one of those here. Train travel is stressful enough.

Great little cafe on platform 5. The staff were excellent and it was very early when I popped in for a coffee. So nice to find friendly happy staff and the coffee was not bad either.
