Lovely cafe with park. Food very reasonably priced. Ordered jacket potato, came with very small salad and no butter on JP. Some small improvements could be made to improve the experience.
Staff started blocking off part of dining area 2 hours before closure which made the dining area very busy and some people had to wait for a table.
Overall highly recommend but also room for improvement with some simple changes.

Staying at Aberdare Campsite we have treated ourselves a few times to the really tasty full cooked Breakfast here. At £6.95 it is extremely good value, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 1 egg, 2 hash browns, 1 tomato, mushrooms, baked beans and toast! All cooked to perfection and with really quality ingredients! Delicious!
Love the fact that there is a small dog friendly section of the cafe (although I'm not sure why people without dogs decide to sit in this small section when there is space elsewhere and it forces dog owners to sit outside?) The staff and manager are lovely and friendly. Absolute gem of a place!

Pleasant lunch today. Just ever so slightly mean on the fillings in the panini and salad garnish. The music through the sound system could also have been quieter - not everyone would appreciate loud rock music at half 12 in the day time. A pleasant visit overall, but a few small changes could make this place wonderful.

The cafe at the Country Park visitor center. Open for breakfast or can get a takeaway coffee to walk around the lake.

Bacon roll was good as was the tiger toast.

Been here a few times and had really good experiences, however came here this morning for some breakfast, well I don’t know where to start! First of all My partner went up to order our food to then be spoken over by the staff member taking her order who more or less did not listen to what we wanted! Food arrived and was taken to the table behind us which my partner raised and asked if it was ours and it was so the lady brought it to us and what she brought proved that the lady taking the order did not listen to what we actually wanted! And was told “no you didn’t order that, you were not charged for it so if you want it you have to go up and pay” so we just left it and didn’t want to cause a fuss over the staff not listening to us from the beginning! We ordered our 1yr old a waffle with berries when it arrived it looked really nice but my baby could not eat it, it was rock solid as if it had just been thrown in the oven for god knows how long, so did not have anything to eat! The waitress asked if we wanted anything else and asked for some ketchup to which she pointed us to where the condiments were when we replied “there’s no ketchup there just bbq sauce?” She then replied, go up to the counter they will find you some? I found our experience in this place dreadful this morning, previously the staff have been lovely and we had a good time but clearly they are all having a bad day today and we will not be returning for food again probably not even for a nice coffee!! Very unhelpful staff and rude! I’ve worked in hospitality for the last 13yrs and I would never ever treat my customers with this much disrespect!!
