From the moment we arrived we realised we were in for a very special stay. Great welcome, fabulous room : luxurious furnishings with large comfortable bed, perfect bathroom with everything we needed. Loved the individual teapots for making drinks in our room! Fresh milk was delivered too. The restaurant was lovely with delicious food, friendly service and good value. Highly recommend a stay here. Eileen and her team are first class. We will be back next year!

Excellent stay with regard to the room, food and customer service provided by the team. ||Whilst the room is fantastic, spacious, warm, very good WiFi, lovely bathroom with good shower gel. |The food is delicious and that is for breakfast and dinner. Tasty full of flavour. ||However the staff make the big difference. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and assisting in whatever they did at any time of the day. |A few outstanding staff member were Misha, Jordon, Eileen and the housekeeper (sorry forgot your name you were so helpful with the towel you gave us to wipe our motorcycles).

Fabulous hotel with large, comfortable rooms. The decor and furnishings are well presented and luxurious.
One star lost due to the food. Whilst our evening meal was ok, it wasn't great. In particular, the crispy duck salad was very disappointing. Small nuggets of duck that was anything but crispy.
I have never been served a half piece of black pudding and a half piece of haggis as part of a full cooked breakfast anywhere before
When I eat out, I like to have food that I wouldn't or couldn't produce at home. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. The food was ok but just ok.
The hotel itself is well appointed and special. I think our experience in the restaurant isn't the usual standard .
I will return in the future. The location of the hotel is fabulous.

We had the treat of champagne afternoon tea.
It was lovely in the conservatory.
The food and champagne was amazing.
But bizarrely we were never offered any tea. When we asked the young waiter about tea we were told they would get us a pot of tea to share. And this arrived as we were nearly finishing the meal .

We arrived at the hotel to receive the warmest of welcomes from Eileen, the Guest Relations Manager. Check-in was completed quickly including the offer of a change of room to something more suited to our needs which we readily accepted.|The reception area, the bar and the restaurant are all beautifully decorated and furnished giving a calming atmosphere and excellent first impression.||The staff are, all, very friendly without being overbearing and are highly efficient in their roles. An issue regarding the wine for one of our dinners was dealt with quickly and efficiently without any potential awkwardness for those involved, including ourselves.||The food was really good. We had heard beforehand that the dinners at the hotel were excellent and they didn’t disappoint. Nor did the breakfasts.||We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel as a base to explore the beautiful Perthshire countryside and then return to an excellent dinner.

What can I say, cairn lodge is beyond words, from the moment we first walked through the doors, cairn lodge gives you wow factor, from decor, to the wonderful staff that always give you a beautiful smile and warm family welcome. Eileen our wedding coordinator has been outstanding from the get go, going above and beyond, as with every staff member at cairn lodge that give you outstanding service, no issue to small, every single one will Do their upmost to accommodate. We look forward to having our wedding here in due course.. |As for the food, wow !!! we have continued to dine here ourselves and with friends, each and every time the food has been beautiful, melt in the mouth experience, they always strive to make sure every mouthful to be just as good as the first bite..I think cairn lodge deserve every accolade, mitchilin star going , but even then I think they would deserve more, well done to you all, you are all a credit to the cairn lodge name..

We stayed in The Cairn Lodge in April 2025. |The hotel is absolutely beautiful with luxurious public rooms.|We had a very large sumptuous bedroom overlooking the garden with a beautifully appointed en-suite complete with bath and walk in shower.|Each member of staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. |We had a lovely welcome from Eileen at reception which set the tone for the rest of our stay.||We had a dinner reservation at Gleneagles so didn’t try the restaurant, however we did have breakfast in the morning which was served in the conservatory. The breakfast offering was quite extensive and cooked to perfection.|The staff at breakfast time were all very attentive and friendly, especially the young Hungarian waiter (we forgot to ask his name) who recommended places in the local are to visit. He recommended the Japanese gardens in Dollar which are spectacular.|We enjoyed our stay so much that we are going back again in June

This hotel is stunning! The decor is beautiful, food divine and plentiful and service fantastic. We thought it was very good value.||We also stayed at Gleneagles which is just down the road, and whilst a cut above, you could very happily stay at Cairn Lodge and visit Gleneagles for dinner and their experiences, and save yourself a considerable amount of money. You certainly wouldn't feel disappointed to return to Cairn Lodge!
