This was our second visit to Calcot and we weren’t disappointed. The service is above and beyond with all members of the team having a natural warm friendly personality. We enjoyed dinner in the brassier on both nights which had an amazing choice on the standard and specials menus. I cannot fault the food. Each course was delicious.
The star of our stay was martin who’s a Person trainer. I’m not a gym goer but he understood the mission that I had a shoulder injury but I wanted to have fun and be put through my paces. He was so knowledgeable about rehab and injuries but certainly challenged my strength and fitness. The spa area and pool is lovely but beware this hotel has a lot of children staying, so avoid the pool at set times. I had a massage last time we stayed but to be honest the price is so expensive this time I didn’t bother. £125 for an hour is insane and they had a lot of availability on the days we stayed so maybe they’ve out priced people’s expectations. Would I stay again? Absolutely

Loved our stay, though I do think the hotel is struggling with its identity between families and couples. I have children but there are occasions (our anniversary) when you want to leave them at home and enjoy a nice retreat away. This weekend had lots of children and we were slightly surprised by the numbers. Our room was very nice and clean. The staff were fantastic. When I booked online I did ask for a table in the corner of the restaurant, we didn't get this and we were seated in the middle of the restaurant very close to another couple. We asked if we could be moved and low and behold we were seated in the corner of the restaurant. |The Spa is good though be careful not to go when its family time.....we were warned that although the indoor pool was open, as a couple it would be best to avoid the pool as it was family time and obviously very noisy. The outside of the spa is also very nice but we struggled to get beds. The massage we booked were both very good. The food at the hotel is good but not the best, the wine list is very good. Service very good. Went for an outdoor swim in the heated pool, again great but needed cleaning.....|All in all a good stay in a beautiful setting but we have stayed at better hotels/spa

We stayed at Calcot for our wedding night. We were greeted with congratulations, an upgrade, champagne on ice and gift chocolates. The staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful, the facilities fab, the food delicious. We aren't regular spa-goers but would definitely return to Calcot. Thank you to everyone there for helping to make a great memory for us.

Wow. Just wow!|Honestly this hotel has everything right. The location is stunning set on 200+ acres of beautiful Cotswold land, a spectacular spa, gorgeous hotel, amazing staff, and the rooms are perfect.|We also ate in the restaurant which was delicious- again the staff were fantastic.|My husband and I both agreed this was the best hotel we have ever stayed at. |It’s stunning but not stuffy, everyone is lovely and attentive without being formal. Just a brilliantly run establishment.|Make sure you treat yourself to a few hours in the spa. It’s so relaxing. |You won’t regret staying here. |Thank you Calcot for a perfect break.

We had a wonderful stay and the staff were fantastic! Five star service! We even got a tour around the grounds by the amazing groundsman who is so knowledgeable and passionate about his job which was lovely to see. We requested a dog room which was perfect, we got given Oxford which was an excellent room with its own garden. The room was clean, with lots of little extras including dog treats for Luna my dog and yummy snacks for me. The food in the Brasserie was superb, the snacks in hive bar were delicious and the spa was a perfect way to relax and unwind. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Lunch in The Hive. The menu is near perfect for my taste. Seafood board, truffle Croque monsieur were very good! Tea / coffee not so good and over priced! Service was prompt and efficient. Well located off A46 north of Bath / south of Stroud. Well worth a visit!

Beautiful pure luxury and relaxation. Treatments were amazing the setting was Beautiful and the food was great. Even the sun came out so we were sunbathing in September. Loved the outdoor hot tub and the open fire was a very nice touch. Will be back.

I booked Calcot as a birthday treat for my sister and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish!

The team were fantastic and looked after us so well, we enjoyed the spa facilities and had a delicious lunch, dinner and breakfast there as well.

Would highly recommend!
