A very warm welcome awaited us from Esme and Brian at Callisham Farm and from the moment we arrived we were exceptionally well cared for. The accommodation was so cozy and full of charm, it being a traditional old farmhouse on a working farm. The beds were extremely soft and comfortable and we had every amenity we could possibly need. The breakfasts were delicious and we had a fabulous vegetarian breakfast with fruits and cereals too. It's even in an idyllic spot nestled amongst hills and so lovely and quiet. A short walk away is traditional pub that serves great food so I simply can't praise the place enough! We will definitely be going back. Thank you Esme and Brian.

A delightful traditional farmhouse in the beautiful Dartmoor national park.
Esme was a lovely host, I was welcomed with a pot of tea and homemade cake.
There is a a fabulous local village pub just a really nice 10min walk across the field and down a track. The room was comfortable and it was lovely to fall asleep listening to the owls in the darkness.
Breakfast was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. I’d definitely come back here again it’s perfect for exploring Dartmoor.

My family and I recently stayed at this beautiful old farmhouse. The accommodation was delightful, Esme the host provided the most excellent service and attention. Breakfast was the best I have experienced in a long time and just the start needed for a day on the moors. I highly recommend this stay over to anyone.

This was the best bed and breakfast we had during our two weeks trip in South England. The owners are so unbelievable friendly and Else has a great sense of humor too. The breakfast was delicious and Dartmoor park is easy to reach from this location.

I stayed at Callisham whilst on a riding holiday with Adventure Clydesdale and it was the most amazing place to come back to after a day on the moors. Esme made us all feel at home and nothing was too much. Breakfast was a great spread with fresh fruit to a full cooked breakfast. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Highly recommend if your looking for a relaxing stay on a traditional working farm.

Visited here now for a number of years and is definitely our home away from home. Esme and Brian have always been incredibly welcoming into their home, breakfast is the best in both food and experience and yummy lunches available if requested. They go over and above every single time. Views and location to die for and farm is handy for anything you want to do while on Dartmoor, and importantly short walk to excellent local pub.

I stayed at Callisham Farm for five nights while on an adventure riding holiday with Adventure Clydesdale.||It's a warm, friendly place to stay, right in the centre of beautiful South Dartmoor. The rooms are very well appointed and the breakfasts are lovely. Esme, who runs the B&B, is a lovely lady.||I would 100 per cent recommend it if you are planning on a walking or riding holiday on Dartmoor, or even if you're cycling or touring by car.
