Liked: Myself and my wife arrived at this site just after check in time with our two chihuahuas and was greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to our pod, from then we didn’t see the owners again until departure- this isn’t a bad thing though!! we was quite happy with the pod and it was very warm considering the outside temps, this was without using the heater!! Absolutely beautiful location with fields and walks for miles. The pod itself is well kept and has a fridge, kettle bin bed and heater! It exceeded my expectations and was very roomy, even with us taking our own electric air bed we still had lots of room! - a sofa bed is provided but we wanted it as a sofa so took our own. 10/10 would definitely return!

Disliked: Nothing really at all to dislike, the wifi could do with updating as there wasn’t any to connect to although it is shown as having WiFi. This wasn’t a huge issue though & certainly not a complaint. I Also would’ve like the pond outside the pod to have water in but that isn’t on the owners ?

Liked: The pitch was ample space for our caravan, awning and car. Toilets were clean and showers hot. Excellent field for the dog to exercise and poo bins all around the site. The manager was very welcoming and approachable. The fishing was great, very well stocked common and mirror carp. I took two rods but only used 1 as catching very regularly. Excellent site and will use again in the future.

Disliked: The only negative thing was the wait for the washing machine but that's not the fault of the site. Someone left their washing in the machine for a long time.

Liked: The location was excellent. Level pitch which was well maintained. The site and the lake and the grounds were lovely and it was peaceful. The facilities were clean.

Disliked: The showers / toilet block may need minor tweaks. The cupboard under the sinks need repairing. One of the seats in a shower cubicle was broken which restricted access into the cubicle.The shower flow would also stop and then decrease if other showers were being used at the same time. The disabled shower room was out of action too as broken.
There were 2 showers and 2 toilets in each of the mens and women's blocks. At similar size sites there have been more. 3 possibly 4. Something to consider maybe.

Liked: Site is very well cared for and pitches are well signed. Variety of accommodation available. Lovely area tucked away so quiet. All the usual facilities available. Good price and no extra charge for the dogs. 9

Disliked: Not sure if the facilities would be adequate for the size of the site if it was fully booked.

We had an absolutely brilliant lodge stay with the dog here! Beautiful lakeside lodges with gorgeous views and ducks! Good amenities within the lodge and very comfy stay. It is a lovely friendly site with a range of accomodation options and a real community and dog friendly vibe. Nothing was too much trouble and the manager was friendly and approachable making sure you're having a great time and saw them multiple times during the trip out and about everything is running like clockwork and they were very nice to check we're enjoying our trip when saying hello.
We also enjoyed the area as a whole and discovered some facts about nearby Lincoln with it's history. Lots of free national trust places to visit nearby too and the cathedral tour was great. Thoroughly enjoyed our break. Will definitely be back maybe to camp next time 🙂

Liked: Amazing place. Peaceful. The owners were very friendly. Great price. Very clean and tidy. Great toilet and shower facilities. Would definitely book again.

Disliked: Didn’t dislike anything. Shame it isn’t closer to home.

Liked: Beautiful, well kept site. Cleanliness and tranquility of the site. Enjoyed watching the wildlife. Pitches are level and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Elsan disposal unit was a bit of a distance to walk. Could not connect to the WiFi

Liked: Comfy cabin, all essentials that were needed. Site is clean and a very nice environment. We walked into the local village, nice dog friendly pub with lovely food and a park on the way.

Disliked: Not a lot to do on site for young children or space to play sport etc though that may be different when there is not a dog show on. Not a deal breaker at all just a prewarning if you have sport mad children.
