Canterbury Lodge is a little gem, spotlessly clean and with great facilities. The room had everything you could wish for and the bed and linen were so comfortable.
Full English Breakfast was superb with quality ingredients.
Lisa was very attentive and went the extra mile to make my stay very special.
I just wish I lived closer as it is a place to enjoy and relax! Thank you.

Lisa is a wonderful person to have met. The breakfast here was fantastic! Location of the hotel is very ideal with also an EV charger. (tell them in advance if you intend on using it). The downside is that there is no room service, you have to tell the reception a day in advance if you want to use the iron, if you need extra pillows etc which isn't really convenient. Nobody really comes in to clean your room or tie the bins until after you check out. Reception is basically almost always empty and no service at all after 7pm. Overall a cost stay with friendly staff. Ideal for only a couple days

A single night visit for a birthday and wedding anniversary. Stayed in a room at the top and rear it was very comfortable. No road noise but didn’t appreciate the ignorant people in the garden playing loud music til fairly late,no regard for anyone else.|Had a fantastic breakfast in the morning. |Great to have free off street parking and only a 10 min walk into town.

Absolutely fantastic. Perfect location, walking distance from the stunning town centre, beautiful en suite classy rooms with 4 poster beds, great breakfast including tea, coffee, fruit juice, cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts, toast and jams. Lisa is a perfect hostess and we look forward to seeing her again.

Just had an overnight stay here. Gorgeous room, spotlessly clean. Owner had left a bag of chocolates in the room for us which was a lovely touch. Amazing breakfast, with a variety of choices, very filling! Free parking onsite and a 10 minute stroll to the high street. Would recommend.

What a pleasant surprise!! This B and B was excellent!! |The room was gorgeous, spacious, with a lovely comfortable 4 poster bed. All the facilities needed were provided, both in the room and bathroom alike.|The breakfasts were amazing, with lots of choices. You knew what to expect, as your order was collected when you checked in. (great idea)|The B& B was just a short 10-15 minute walk to the city gate too.|Lisa, the owner, was such a friendly and very helpful lady.|We had a very pleasant stay.|Many Thanks Lisa.|Lorna and Lenny

Best eggs in the world? is a bold statement but may well be true. I recently had breakfast in a top London hotel (£1,000 + per night) and the eggs were not as excellent as here. The owner was charming & friendly and wanted to do everything possible to make our stay wonderful (which she did - thank you). As a couple with "bus passes" we used these to travel (several times) to Whitstable for the lovely seafood and into the city centre (and the associated return trips), as there are stops outside the B&B. The breakfast was hearty and the eggs were also better than those I ate in USA during a 3 week stay this year.

Lovely B&B. We were upgraded to 4 posted bed room. Lovely and clean and owner cannot do enough for you. Breakfasts are enormous - had to ask for less on second morning! Lovely to be given list of breakfast times - good all freshly cooked and brought to your table. Self-service for fruits, juices, cereals.|Easy walk into centre of Canterbury but in bus route if need transport.
