We stayed in the Shepherds Hut for a couple of nights, absolutely loved it! Very cute and super comfy bed!
We were treated by Mother Nature to an amazing lightening storm one night and a beautiful warm evening with a gorgeous sunset over the fields the next night! Birds chirping away and plenty of peace & quiet! Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful place! We just had a couple of nights in Bramble Lodge,and fell in love with it. It's cosy, comfy and the hot tub is fabulous. A perfect location for peace and quiet in a rural location, and still be able to easily explore Canterbury, Whitstable and surrounding areas. Angela is a fantastic host, and the goats and chickens make this place just a little bit special. Highly recommend this lovely gem- we can't wait to come back!

Liked: From the moment we arrived we were greeted by thr host and were immediately made to feel welcome. The sheppards hut was warmed up and hot tub ready to go. Everything in the sheppards hut was thought of including a welcome bowl of fresh eggs from the chickens over the hedge.

Disliked: That we could only book 2 nights we wanted to stay longer.

Liked: Myself and my husband both had such a lovely relaxing time staying in the Sheppard's hut. Its a very beautiful rural area and the site itself is lovely and small and the owners were very friendly and welcoming, fresh farm eggs were a bonus. The Sheppard's hut was lovely and clean and very cosy and of course the hot tub was amazing and we certainly made the most of it. The hut was sat next to a goats pen, which I absolutely loved waking up and going to give them a little scratch in the mornings. You get your own private shower room which is just a short distance from the hut. Overall myself and my husband had a lovely time and will definitely be staying here again

Disliked: absolutely nothing

Liked: We booked this for a quiet retreat and found it to be a very good location. We loved the fire pit as it kept the sept chills away in the evening looking at the stars. All facilities toilets and shower block a short walk we stayed in the bell tent and bed very comfy my wife is disabled and facilities were good. We loved the goats and chickens. we loved our time there and was sorry when it ended. Look forward to a return visit sometime.

Disliked: As wife was disabled one thing we really missed was a small low table to be able to put our essentials on. It only needed to be small folding table which could be stored under the bed for those people that don't need a small table. It would have helped my wife.

Had a lovely weekend at the Shephards Hut, the hut was perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was a great addition and really adds to the stay. One small suggestion would be some sort of path/more lights in the direction of the toilets, as in the middle of the night it was pitch black and you couldn’t even see the hut (Maybe we’re just not well equipped for that side of ‘glamping’) considering we stayed in summer so it was only a problem later on in the evening but I can imagine in winter when it gets dark earlier it could definitely make a difference.
But other than that it was a lovely stay, in the perfect location and we would stay again in one of the other lodges.

Wow! Honestly had the most relaxing weekend. The cabin is so cozy. The hot tub was amazing. This little gem was the perfect location. Hidden away enough to feel far away from the hustle and bustle but actually not far from all we needed and some beautiful locations a short drive away. Angela and her husband were so lovely and informative. Can't wait to come back next year! Honestly didn't want to go home, my only complaint is I didn't stay abit longer

Had an absolutely amazing time. The set up is great and the location is ideal. Definitely would recommend for a peaceful getaway. Hot tub was luxurious, cabin was already warm when we arrived which was ideal in the winter. There is a lovely pub close with great food and and village shop and park for the kids. The owners were so friendly and so helpful. Will definitely be returning sometime soon.
