We had a lovely time at Carden Park. We booked an overnight spa package which including afternoon spa access, 50min treatment, breakfast and £30pp towards an evening meal. ||||We made use of the gym and the spa was really good - very clean and wasn’t overcrowded. We had a few drinks outside and made use of one of the outdoor pods which we enjoyed. We both enjoyed our treatments too. ||||We had food in the Elements spa restaurant and the main hotel restaurant. Both waiters were very accommodating with my partner’s dietary requirements. ||||I was surprised by the accommodation as it doesn’t seem to follow suit with the quality of the spa. I expected to be staying in the actual hotel and didn’t realise the set up of the place until we got there. The rooms reminded me of a holiday village set up and the room was quite basic (reminded me of a travel lodge) and didn’t live up to the expectation of luxury I had after being in the spa. I understand the spa is probably newer than the accommodation and I presume there are rooms in the actual hotel which may be of the style i was expecting. ||||We also aren’t keen on buffet breakfasts but that’s personal preference and I wouldn’t rate a hotel down because of this!||||We would definitely return but maybe look to stay in the actual hotel if the rooms are a bit nicer. We would definitely return for a spa day too!

This place is so near to perfect. The spa, staff, pools and treatment were perfect. But the food, although it was incredibly tasty and well presented needed better vegan options. Avocado toast is tasty but the vegan option had no protein. (Brunch menu) I think a couple of dedicated vegan options would go a long way. Also the portions were small even considering it was brunch. But I asked for another piece of toast and got one no problem which is lovely. So yeah, lovely stay, lovely people, just needs more vegan options. Thanks!

Lovely relaxing stay at Carden Park. We had a room in the Courtyard which was very nice with its own little terrace/balcony to sit and relax. The walk in shower was a joy and everything was clean and well presented. Access to the leisure facilities was also included and we had a very enjoyable morning swim. The breakfast was really good, plenty of choice and in a lovely setting overlooking the lake and golf course. All the staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. Looking forward to another visit.

Had a one night stay during a business trip, the hotel and grounds were stunning. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was perfect. We paid £250 to use the spa (plus a lovely afternoon tea) for just a couple of hours (to be told we wasn’t allowed to leave our towels on the sunbed next to the indoor pool, it wasn’t busy, and we was physically using them, we popped our towel down, jumped in for a dip and was next to the loungers, not left the towel to use other facilities, there was then only about 4 hooks to hang stuff, was told to carry phone to pay for drinks etc, so had my phone as well) plus flip flops with nowhere to put them, not ideal! Paid £25 for two non alcoholic drinks at the bar. The spa was gorgeous but it did feel very military unfortunately. Dinner was gorgeous, and having the £30 pp dinner supplement made two steak dinners under £50 was very reasonable, BUT our table had been auto booked for 6.45 so by time we got in from the spa we had no time to rest as we had dinner booked - but I’m glad it had been auto booked otherwise we’d of not got a space in the restaurant until 8.45 😵‍💫. Parking was a faff for the spa and hotel as there was no where to park for either. |We was told the leisure club closed at 7.45 initially, to find out it actually closed at 8.45pm, which was a little annoying. The views from the hotel were spectacular. ||The spa outdoors is stunning — like beautiful. Well kept, clean etc.||We actually booked again to come back on May 1st for another business trip, but this time we won’t do the spa and we pre booked dinner - BUT I’ve just been told now that the restaurant is full so only have 6.30pm dinner or 8.45pm, it’s three weeks away yet 😬 I wouldn’t like to eat dinner at either of those times so bit miffed about that to be honest with you, given it’s almost a month away yet. ||We did use room service for dessert and coffee, which was more expensive than the whole meal itself! ||The hotel is extremely affordable, £289 for a king estate view room plus bottle of wine and full use of the in hotel leisure club (not the spa which is seperate) and £30 pp dinner voucher -that’s so affordable compared to most. Highly reccomend BUT just be aware of points above.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning setting, the grounds hotel and spa are very well kept. The restaurant for breakfast and lunch is very clean and the staff are attentive, especially Steph who helped us with some cave locations. The food at our conference meal was beautiful very hot plates and great service. The rooms are beautiful and I was looked after by Rachel with a room upgrade and surprise box of chocolates and fresh fruit platter. Really impressed. Hopefully our company books again for next year !

The grounds are lovely. The inside of the hotel is well done. However it was full of kids and activities not a relaxing or romantic getaway. I read reviews describing the hotel rooms like a travelodge. I would agree. Basic and no freebies that you'd expect in a place that cost so much. It doesn't beat the pulford where we normally go and that's cheaper and better. Drinks were very expensive 17 pound for a cocktail which was tiny and the glass wasn't even full. Couldn't fault the hotel food. Pricey but lovely. The spa is really nice but hot tubs aren't hot and 2 hours is more than enough as it isn't very big. Would not come back as there are better places in Cheshire for less than what we paid.

Completely amazing! Rooms of highest standard, house keeping superb, room service magical, food is tantalisingly outstanding. Spa is wonderful with lovely staff. Down side is, you have to leave when you just want to live there!!

Reception staff were quite cold and snobbish. Didn’t let that kill my vibe though 😊 I had a great experience in-spite of a sour start. Redmond’s staff were amazingly kind, food was great ( though could use a bit more options). The leisure staff were great. The spa staff were fantastic and helpful. Scenery was tranquil and calm; reminded me of resorts back home. It was fulfilling 😊
