I spent 6 days at Careys Manor Hotel and could not have been better looked after by the lovely staff. Everyone was warm and approachable.
The Hotel is lovely and the open fire and log burner were very welcome to lift the February gloom.
I enjoyed the leisure facilities and Sen Spa.
Breakfast was vey good and the dining room is beautiful.
I would be very happy to stay here again.

Each year we book a spa morning on Christmas Eve and the last few years we've chosen to visit Careys Manor. It's just the best, from the lovely staff in reception to the very skilled massage therapists. The spa area is exceptionally clean and has amazing facilities. The Thai lunch is included with the Sun Up Spa morning and it's just so delicious! The waiter couldn't do enough for us to ensure we had everything we needed and had an enjoyable meal. Thank you all for making our morning a relaxing, peaceful time, right before the Christmas craziness hits. We can't wait to return, see you next time 🙂

We stayed early Jan 2025 for a night away for my birthday and our anniversary and it was a wonderful treat. Suzie on reception was fantastic, so helpful and polite and moved things around so we could check in early. We had lunch in the lounge with the fire while we waited, would recommend. The spa staff were also fabulous, Pan my masseuse gave the best massage I’ve ever had! Only point of feedback would be that breakfast could do with including some cooked items in the price, eg. eggs.

Overall wonderful stay, always love coming to Carey’s manor.

This is a charming, characterful hotel in a brilliant location for exploring the New Forest which I didn't manage to do this time (was there for work) but will return to do. Spent a long time looking at All Trails porn.The rooms which are all in an annexe are bland and dated - kinda 80s corporate - could do with a refresh - but spacious and comfortable. Great bed. The spa and pool are sensational, and the breakfasts are amongst the best I've had. There were cosy fires burning when I was there. The staff seem happy and engaged and were helpful at all times.I think the extra cost for the spa is cheeky - most hotels with a spa include it in the price - but actually you don't need the spa as the stunning pool has an adjoining steam, sauna and jacuzzi. I did enjoy using the spa steam room with its amethyst though - felt like I was in an 80s adventure movie or a quest on Traitors. But it makes this hotel pretty expensive.||I imagine most people don't use the hotel in the way I was using it - as a base for a work trip - so I can understand why this is the case, but the room service options are very limited. I came by train but - sadly - would recommend a car to access amenities. Had to rely on uber eats to ferry some necessities in as I was on a long work call, they got lost, one lot cancelled, etc.||I would definitely return again, for leisure - don't think it's really cut out as a work hotel - but would bring a car and not pay extra for the spa.

Pittefaux cottage is perfect. I am a wheelchair user and apart from the front step the ground floor is absolutely ideal for me to get around using my rollator or wheelchair. Loads of space for the family to join us. Kitchen well equipped and loved the welcome basket. Beautiful gardens to spend time in and very easy to park. We’ve stayed in the hotel for 30 years and love it but much more practical now for us to stay in the cottage. Fantastic break.

The hotel's staff are pleasant, attentive, and friendly. Our garden room with patio was both clean and comfortable. The only thing lacking from our room was a safe. The bathroom was clean, with lots of hot water and a nice shower. The only drawback to the shower was that it flooded the bathroom. The refrigerator was large and contained bottled water and a carton of milk. It would have been lovely to have more than two breakfast tea bags, on the welcome tray. The robes were fantastic, but forget the cardboard slippers! We ate in both restaurants, but be aware of the 12.5% service charge. The Thai restaurant was pleasant, and the staff were courteous and friendly. I enjoyed my king prawn noodle meal, but did not think it was worth the price.
Breakfast options included a continental buffet and a smaller cooked breakfast at a reasonable price. However, the food was not always hot. The breakfast personnel, particularly Antoinett, were courteous, cheerful, and helpful.
The pool area is peaceful, however the saunas are very small.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Food is amazing along with the service. Attention to detail is second to none. I'm my opinion. Would also like to give a great thanks to the night crew, especially Rose, who answered the night desk. She was amazing. She was able to help with late night requests for drinks for me and my partner. 5 star all round. Thanks, Careys Manor.

I was pleasantly surprised by Carey’s Manor. It has superb unshowy service. Beautifully presented, this hotel is not a cheap experience but makes you feel that it is worth the price. We dined in the bistro and had a choice from an interesting menu that was cooked perfectly . Really charming get away - happy to recommend
