Stopped here for coffee and a cake when visiting the Castle Ashby Gardens. Arrived when they first opened on a nice sunny day. The coffee and cake was very nice and fortified us for a visit to the Gardens. Upon our return from the Gardens we stopped for an early lunch comprised of a toasted sandwich and chips. This was really nice, sat outside in the sun. The cafe was busy with a number of diners who were here for lunch and not visiting the Gardens, which is a good recommendation. We were very happy with the standard of food and service from the staff. Highly recommended.

I went for the first time four weeks ago with my nieces and sister in law - being treated - and it surely was a lovely morning. We stayed for two hours and had the most delicious breakfast, served by a lovely person who told me I’d made the best choice of tomatoes, homemade pesto and balsamic on sourdough toast - try it if you go! I am taking my ward there tmw for a Sunday treat !

Mediocre at best. Stopped for ploughman’s that was ok (edible) with unsmiling customer service from all staff. Pity as it’s a gorgeous location - needs a manager who cares.
