Stayed just the one night for work. Was greeted by the host, who could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Had a double room with en-suite, which was large, immaculately clean and had a superb view over the gardens. Local pub within 200 yards or so, which looked like a very appealing country village pub. Everything was simple superb. Thank you

The house of the bed and breakfast is fit for kings and queens. Mary Queen of Scots wasn't given such a great place to stay when she stayed in Fotheringhay. The area surrounding the Guest House are stunning and you can see this from the photos on this page. The bedrooms can't be faulted and for the life of me I can't find the duvet cover we had on our bed on Google and we won't stop looking. It was luxurious. The coffee we had for breakfast was great. The full English breakfast was good. We will be recommending this Guest House to guests who come to see us in Lincolnshire. Family in the South coming to stay will find this half way stopover very relaxing. There's also a guests' living room with a stunning view of the back garden sweeping down to the river. Can't fault the place.

An excellent overnight stop over. A very welcome hello with tea and biscuits on the lawn. Lovely room with everything we required followed by a good breakfast to see us on our way.|Lovely grounds and Fotheringhay remains a quiet charming village with an excellent pub if you require an evening meal.|Close enough to the A1 to be convenient to get to, but far enough away to be at peace in the countryside.

The location, next to a historic castle mound and a river and nearby a church with many significant royal connections, at the edge of a beautiful stone-built village would be hard to beat. With extensive lawns sweeping down to the river's edge beside an ancient stone bridge, this converted Victorian farmhouse is set in a tranquil environment. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and attractively presented. Breakfast is of a matching quality, and the warm welcome of the attentive hosts made for a delightful stay.

Lovely quiet old farm house in an old well kept village. My room was lovely, spacious and clean. Stephanie was a great host and cooks a really lovely breakfast.
I would definitely recommend Castle Farm Guest House to anybody looking for a more personal hotel experience, you won’t be disappointed.

Had a lovely stay here. Loved the grounds, room was spacious, nice homely lounge to lounge in, decent breakfast, and pleasant, helpful service. My only gripe was the pillows were too soft & squidgy, which I find at many hotels, but was provided with a good firm replacement pillow which was just what I needed. Would heartily recommend staying here.

My fishing partner and I (Richard) recently spent 4 nights at Castle Farm Guest House with the delightful Stephanie. We shared a twin bedded very well appointed room with superb bathroom and fittings. We had an excellent breakfast and are looking forward to returning there some time later this year. ||P.S. Do all the rooms have such exotic statues Stephanie as my wife is still laughing!
