A colleague recommended this place to me for a job I had in the area, and it didn’t disappoint. The room was spacious and included a small fridge, which was really useful for my two-week stay. The shared kitchen was clean and well-maintained, with everything I needed to cook my own meals. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay.

Fantastic location with great facilities, friendly staff, and excellent value for money. I stayed in a spacious double room with an en suite and TV—very comfortable and well-maintained. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets just a short walk away, which is super convenient.

Note: when arriving, the private parking is just off the main high street up a slight incline—keep an eye out for the sign, as it’s a bit tucked away behind the trees.

Stayed at Castletown House during this year’s Download Festival and had a great time. It was my first time staying here and I have no complaints. The rooms were spacious, the price was decent, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is quiet but still close to the action. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed at Castletownhouse while working on a mural project for a local business. Theo was incredibly accommodating and arranged a self-contained flat for me at short notice, which I really appreciated, especially as I was staying for several weeks. The flat had everything I needed for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. If I get any future work in the area, I know where to come!

I stayed in Castletown House with my partner. We had a long weekend break before flying from East Midlands airport for our holiday. ||The room was spacious and cosy at the same time. It was clean and had a fridge which was useful. The staff were friendly and happy to help with anything. Would definitely go again if I’m in the area.

I book an en suite, self-contained apartment every year at Castletown house, for the download festival. You can walk to the festival or it’s less than a 5 minute drive. There is also buses you can get there. Lots of food around and supermarkets. Great place to stay. It’s a gem 100% recommend!

Good location, near to the airport with frekvent buses through out the day. Nice spacious and clean rooms. The owner will make every effort to match your requests. A few good restaurants and pubs nearby. I can really recommend this place if you’re traveling through East Midlands airport or visiting the area for a few days.

We had a lovely stay here! The rooms were super clean and comfy! The staff was very friendly and helped us out with all our questions and with suggestions. There's a private parking and lots of things to do nearby. Would definitely come back when in the area!
