Delicious food/Friendly team/Excellent wedding supplier

I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Cater London at multiple weddings this year. Lucy, in particular, is an incredibly friendly, organized, and hands-on manager. Even when it wasn’t part of her official role, she took charge of coordinating the day, ensuring everything ran smoothly and giving couples the best possible experience.

As a photographer, working with a great team is crucial, and the catering team plays a huge role in the success of a wedding. From keeping everything on schedule, to being flexible when plans change, and coordinating seamlessly with couples and planners, their involvement is key. They also make sure that suppliers, like myself, are fed at the right time, which is essential when couples generously pay for meals!

We used Cater London for our Wedding in May of this year. The food was delicious and they were able to make it all gluten free due to my dietary requirements with no issue. So many wedding guests came up to me on the day to say that the food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! The team were incredible on the day, so friendly and everything ran so smoothly. It meant as a bride I could really just enjoy my day and not worry about anything. A special thank you to Emily who ran the process from start to finish and was absolutely amazing. She really made me feel at ease from start to finish and no question or request seemed to be a problem. I would highly recommend Cater London if you're looking for a catering company for your wedding. I just wish we could recreate the day and eat all the delicious food again! Thank you SO much!

Just incredible!!!

Cater recently catered and did bar service for our London dry hire wedding in April 2024 at The Crypt on the Green.

From start to finish they were exceptional, and were far more than a bog standard caterer - they did all of the on the day co-ordination which was a huge load off our minds (and cost saving as we didn’t need a wedding coordinator).

Lucy, Ellen and the whole team are amazing. No question or issue was too small to talk about or answer and they completely made us feel like everything was in control leading up to the event. The venue we chose was more logistically difficult than most (one giant room, very small kitchen space and strict start/end time), and was new to them, and they ran the whole thing completely seamlessly.

As for the food - it was just amazing with the most generous portions! So many guests came up to us after dinner to say it was the best food they’ve had at any wedding. The bar service was incredibly smooth too - I don’t think I ever saw a queue. Both bar and food service were great at incorporating little touches from us (eg. Trays of baby Guinness shots, a vegan desert alternative). The ops team also always went the extra mile (eg. Putting up bunting my mum had made in the garden).

They were hands down the supplier that made our wedding feel special, and are absolutely worth their weight in gold!

The Cater team, especially Emily, are incredible in every way! Looking for our wedding caterers was a big deal, as two massive food enthusiasts we knew that we wanted the food to be the centrepiece of our intimate London wedding. We also needed someone to set up the bar with amazing cocktails and run the service seamlessly. Honestly what we ended up with was faultless - the 4 course Italian feasting menu was unbelievably delicious and there was so much food, the drinks were spot on, and every member of the team was an absolute dream to have around on our most special of days. I had high expectations not only for the food and service, but really wanted to work with someone who had our interests at heart, who would make planning easy and help make sure the day was a success, and I got so much more than that in the end it really was perfect. I've also never had so many compliments on how great the food was from friends and family, everyone was truly bowled over. Eternally grateful to Emily and the team for going above and beyond 🙂

Cater London took care of all aspects of food and drink out our recent dry hire wedding & we genuinely could not have asked for more!

We had a dream of a Turkish sharing feast which Harris and his culinary team brought to life and elevated to the next level.

From the canapés through to the dessert, all of the food was exceptional and our guests are still passing comment on how delicious and amazing it was!

Ellen and her team effortlessly ran everything to do with the front of house on the day, supporting with the overall set up of the space and servicing our guests so well with all aspects including the bar.

It was a pleasure to deal with the team, from Greg at the tasting through to Ellen in the run up and finally the team on the day.

We really felt Cater London went above and beyond in every aspect. The team listened to our brief, supported us along the journey and added a personal touch that went such a long way.

We would love to do it all again and would not anyone other than Cater London to partner with!

We were so thrilled with the wedding breakfast, bar and service provided by Cater for our wedding last December.

From the very start they were wonderful to work with. Ellen and Lucy were engaged, responsive, knowledgable. No task was arduous, no question was silly, no detail was too small to be given undivided attention.

The menu was delicious and the team were super flexible in tweaking it so that it was perfect (I had to ask Ellen for the roasted sprouts recipe as so many guests had requested it!).

On the day the service was immaculate. The entire team are a delight. Incredibly organised but managing to remain laid back and calm, they took the stress out of the logistical side of things whilst remaining elegant and poised.

We are so pleased that we chose Cater. We wouldn't change a thing.

Absolutely incredible! We had cater so the food at our London wedding in October. Although they were hired for the food, they did so much more on the day.

From all the prep work to being point people on the day, the level of organisation was next level. They looked after both of us amazingly and made sure our vision of the reception came to life. The staff from the bar, the waiters and front of house were so attentive and made sure our guests were well looked after. In particular we wanted to give a shout out to Charlotte who so many of our friends and family commented was so switched on during the dinner to whatever anyone needed - including accommodating a last minute request from our best man to help during his speech.

We've not stopped receiving messages from our guests raving about the food from the canapes to the main dinner and the evening burgers. I lost count on the night of the amount of people who told us it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten! Would highly highly recommend to anyone.

Cater London managed our wedding in Shoreditch and they were absolutely fantastic! They did the catering, served the drinks and managed all the furniture needed for the day in a dry hire venue. The whole experience was brilliant.
- Our catering Manager for the day Emily was brilliant and went consistently above and beyond to help us including managing a couple of the difficult venue staff
- the food was fantastic and we’ve had loads of compliments from guests about it
- the furniture and bar they created was great and they provided loads of helpful guidance on what drinks to get / how much
- the staff were all super friendly and helpful and played a key role in creating the atmosphere we wanted for the day
- the food tasting in hackney was also a great experience

Overall couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Emily in particular was a superstar so ask for her as your manager if you can
