Spent 4 nights in the lodge which was first class in every respect. Very clean and comfortable and well equipped to a high standard. Jo the owner is very helpful and happy to answer all and any questions. Very enjoyable break and would have no hesitation in returning in the future and would highly recommend this accommodation.

Staying in Catherine House Lodge. Very clean and tidy. Love staying here, a good central place for exploring the Waveney Valley and close to Southwold and the coast. The Lodge is good for the elderly or for those with mobility issues. Regular buses to Norwich and Southwold for non drivers, approximately 10 minute walk to bus stop opposite the Bear and Bells Public House.

We stayed 3 nights at this very nice B&B. There is free parking and it is about a 10 min walk into Beccles. On arrival we were early, but it was no problem to Karen who quickly showed us to our room. We were in room Jenny i.e.the double en suite room. It was lovely, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was perhaps a little too compact for me but we managed. Didn't use the free standing bath in the bedroom. You have to pre order your breakfast the night before by filling in the form left in your room. There is a good selection to choose from including fresh fruit and all the usual breakfast choices and it was all cooked and presented very well. The lounge and dining room were also very nicely decorated and a lovely big garden area to sit in if you wished. We thought it was very good value for money and we hope to return when we next visit Beccles. Thank you Karen for a lovely stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed a lovely two night stay at Catherine House. Location is ideal only a few minutes walk into the Centre of Beccles and not far by road to the coast and the many attractions Suffolk and Norfolk has to offer. Received a very warm welcome from Karen on arrival. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean providing all the facilities you could need. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. I felt very comfortable and would have no hesitation in returning or recommending this lovely B & B.

We returned to Catherine House for a very enjoyable 4 night stay whilst visiting friends in Beccles. It really is a very nice B&B, very clean and comfortable, a lovely cooked breakfast served to order and lovely views into the spacious garden.An ideal place to enjoy the surrounding countryside. We were made to feel at home during our stay, special thanks to Karen and Anne for all their hard work.

We stayed in the self catering lodge. This was spotlessly clean throughout. Every thing we needed was supplied. All the equipment worked without any problems what so ever. Karen, the owner, goes to great pains to completely sanitise everything to make things as safe as possible. Plenty of parking, Many thanks to Karen and Ann. Excellent thank you.

Recommended to us by a family member, we were delighted with the room and it's lovely view across the countryside. Everything is of a very high quality and honestly found it hard to tear ourselves from the seats in the window when we had to go out! After a very good breakfast we were genuinely sorry only to be staying for one night and I'm certain we'll book here again.

I booked in for one night while I was working in the area after previously staying about 15 years ago . I received a warm welcome from Karen and she recommended a few places in Beccles where I could have a evening meal . The room was very nice and clean , with tea , coffee and biscuits. I had a choice of Bath or shower with shower gel and shampoo , I noticed the room also had a hair dryer and fan if needed. I was welcomed at breakfast and as I was the only person in the dining room at the time , I was given the remote for the TV and the mornings newspaper , but unfornately I didnt have time to read the paper . There was a great chioce of cereals , fruit , juices etc and toast with my fried breakfast , I was offered more toast or if there was anything else I would like. I try to give a balanced view but I can honestly say that I cannot think of anything negative to say about Catherine House , a great B&B for a great price . I will definately come back agin when I am in the area.
