First trip to centre Parcs in over 10 years, and the wait was definitely worth it. The location and woodlands are absolutely beautiful!

We visited in late April and stayed in a 3 bedroom new style woodland lodge in the Fir area. That meant our lodge was quite a distance from the swimming area, but the area was more quiet and affordable.

The land train service is especially helpful! There is also a cycle centre so you can rent bikes and helmets.

The Swimming paradise was great! Rapids were fun, there were slides, a lazy river and two children’s areas. I do feel like the pool needs to be larger or expanded as at busy times it got quite crowded!

The restaurants were extremely overpriced but the food was great and (most) of the staff were lovely!

The Sports Plaza was also good and had a variety of amenities, activities plus a cafe and Starbucks.

Our stay was a midweek stay but I now wish we had stayed for longer because of how much we all enjoyed our time!

We will definitely be coming back as soon as possible! One of the best holidays!

!! The car park and general park are very busy on arrival and departure days !!

As someone who has a broken foot, the mobility service dept were excellent. Nothing too much trouble. Had to book in advance but that was no problem at all. I used the land train where I could, but.mobility service when on change over day. I would like to give a shout out to the lady who collected me from 406 on Saturday 17th may. She was amazing the whole weekend.||We stayed in 406 and 407. Beds soo comfortable and the villa well equipped and clean.||Have been a regular visitor for over 20 years and we celebrated my daughters hen doo here.

Arrived at 430pm, straight through arrivals to our lodge within the Pine area. Beautiful lodge, very clean. 6 adults and 1 toddler, plenty of space, utensils, plates, glasses, mugs etc. We did find the oven tricky to work and it was extremely slow, thankfully only needed to use it once. Beds were very comfortable, showers hot and no issues with running out of hot water even with 7 of us. We saw lots of wildlife right outside our patio door- cat, duck, deer, rabbit, blue tit, robins. A night vision camera linked to the tv would be great to see who visited overnight!! We went on the land train which was a lovely way to see around the whole park and its free. We played pool, bowling, went swimming, walking, biking, toddler inflatable football....all activities were great fun(cost extra apart from swimming). Alcohol is expensive but pub prices, eg £8 glass wine. We had takeaway restaurant runner twice which was great value and we ate at Bella Italia which was lovely and priced same as any Bella Italia. The ice creams from the sweet shop were lovely, can recommend the raspberry ripple, rum and raisin, salted caramel and mint choc chip. Breakfast at Cafe Rouge was delicious and reasonably priced. The shop is like a co-op and priced the same. We took a few bits like extra toilet rolls, our own drink, snacks, kitchen roll. You really can do as much or as a little as you want to, we all loved it and are booking to go again next year.

Spending quality time with family is priceless and seeing our children be free to play and enjoy the forest setting is what made the trip for us. The amount of wildlife we saw from our lodge patio was amazing and the children loved this too. |I would agree with other reviews on the changing areas at the pool. The family changing spaces are definitely not big enough for a family, we ended up splitting up and using two. The lockers were a decent size and free to use with the wristband. I also agree the lifeguards at the slide exits could be a bit more smiley and engaging and aware that they too are a part of the experience for guests. |The pool was great but being the only activity included in the cost of your stay, it is usually very busy. It could do with a larger general pool area that isn’t so deep. Considering a main target market is families, the pool is mostly inaccessible for children younger than 12. There is a splash area for smaller children but nothing catering for those from ages 8-12. |We stayed in the 2 bed executive lodge and it suited us fine. A little tired in places and some food on the oven trays but on the whole good. |My main complaint and reason for not wanting to book return visit immediately is the inflated cost of EVERYTHING. It leaves you feeling a bit resentful and ripped off. Comparing prices of equivalent activities outside of the park resulted in us having a fairly limited itinerary out of principle. I don’t mind paying out if you feel you are getting something really special but sadly this is not the case. The activities and food on offer can be matched elsewhere but for a fraction of the price.

Really lovely lodge. Beautiful trees and flowers in grounds. All spotlessly clean. |Lots of play areas for the children. The swimming complex is FANTASTIC! |It is a lot of money but then swimming and grounds are Free so maybe that all irons out. |A special place for families and making memories.

Been to a few other Center Parcs and thought we'd give here a go. Overall good, plenty to explore around , yes wee bit hilly but that made it...Redwood apartments brilliant location central to everything. Clean and comfy bed.. Shower is amazing , smallest kitchen we've ever had at a center parcs.. Pancake house was absolutely brilliant , tasty Pancakes and excellent value for money..Rowan our server very friendly and he was certainly professional and very helpful unlike Jazz at the Foresters Inn. Who totally was rude and needs a refresh in customer care. ! ... Service rating is due to our server at The Foresters Inn

Was a great stay, but was our first at centerparcs so will be much easier if we came back. Didn't know about the land train or how to get about as it wasn't running on the Friday we arrived. So not knowing anything and given a map by aqua sana spa we tried on foot to find our accommodation which wasn't nice loaded up with suitcases, multipack drinks and after a long drive. Wish we had taken a number down to call or know better how to get help as there was no one in sight the day we arrived. No staff and no customers weirdly. Our reservation at the gastro pub wasn't there so we was unexpected, and took so long getting back to our apartment on the land train after breakfast that we was locked out. Then a new medic lady just made things worse by telling us we needed to be out by 10, when it clearly says 11am and breakfast would still be going? Then said we had the wrong door keys but that's what aqua sana gave us and worked fine till 11am checkout time we missed. Thankfully a great handyman helped and sorted everything. Gave us a lift to my car as we decided to just leave early and not stay the second day. He also told us we was allowed to drive all the way to our apartments and then park back up after lol. . Wish we knew that lol

Our first time at centre parcs and we were blown away! The swimming pools and rapids are fantastic and loads of fun! The pools were so warm! Like a warm bath! We seen red deer in our own garden there. Went to visit the giant sequoia trees and wow they are so beautiful! Next time we visit we are planning to get a cabin in the redwoods or the cascades!
