Very nice place, with pleasant people giving excellent service, which makes this place special.
Tried their strawberry kunafe which was divine.
Loaded fries - I think this need a bit of improvement. The fries were the downside, the sauce and chicken were good. I think chips would be better and please make them fresh. Our fries weren't which really made the dish go down.
Karak chai was nice.
Bit pricy.

The best pink chai I’ve had in a while and their pink pistachio milk cake was wonderful! I was particularly impressed with Priya’s warm welcome and approach. She was super friendly and helpful; I’ll certainly be back again!

Cozy and warm place. Exactly what you need for a tea shop. No dazzling lights just eye soothing warm lights. food was surprisingly tasty. very good service by Prebima.

Tried this place for the first time in February 2025. Really impressed with the food. The service is very good and the atmosphere is very warming. I ordered the desi classic and the full desi, along with desi tea, cappuccino and a knafeh cheesecake. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The portion size is very good. The price is a little higher than I expected but the food was nice. Nice clean place throughout. Parking on the main road was a bit challenging.

I initially got the impression that this is just the usual café, karak chai/tea place but I was wrong! Been a few times now, the aesthetics are nice, service is good and food is really good. They've got an extensive menu, tried the breakfast, the burgers, coffees/teas and desserts. Everything is nicely done! They're also open till very late so can visit whatever time.

We had a wonderful time at Chai & Chapati!

The food was wholesome, full of flavor, and served in just the right portions. The Meat Feast was a true highlight - rich, satisfying, and perfectly spiced.

We topped it off with the indulgent Saffron Milk Cake and a cup of warming Karak Chai, the perfect finish!

The staff were polite, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which added so much to the overall experience.

Can’t wait to return for another round of comforting flavors and great service!

Food is nice, the staff is good , and the place is clean.
We had 4 desi breakfast which includes 2 freshly made puris, chana salan and suji ka halwa with salad and achaar. Had to order tea separately. We had delicious Kashmiri chai with pistachios. Halwa was okay..ish but the rest of the food was really very tasty and fresh.
The bill was £59.60 which is £15 for a desi breakfast and a Kashmiri chai per person.
I haven't tried other foods so can only recommend their desi breakfast.
Parking is always a problem in this area except early morning or at night time but a super market is at walking distance where you can park for 90 minutes.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at chai & chapati with my wife. We experienced the excellent quality of the food (the full desi and karak chai with saffron). The atmosphere was amazing and the friendly and helpful staff name Priya delivered the spectacular service. I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. I was blown away by the exceptional service provided by the restaurant staff and specially Priya. I will certainly recommend this café 100%.
