Ok where to start , we stayed 2 nights only, |This is a very tired Hotel ,a cross between faulty towers and the Shining, All the double glazed windows had blown and the large bay window didn’t shut ether, I was a ground floor room . The furniture in my room was all different and old, The shower was warm but I could pee harder, the bar in the hotel wasn’t open and they were not serving food all weekend. We saw no hotel staff from Friday to Sunday morning when we handed our key back.| I foolishly left a quite an expensive jacket in the wardrobe, the owner phone me Sunday to tell me he had it , ok I said can you post it to me, He said no , I said I would pay for his time/ petrol and post ,he came back with no the post office in town has close down if I want my jacket then I must collect it, Lucky for me I only live in Portsmouth. On the Monday I collected the jacket at quite some considerable cost and inconvenience on my behalf.|Needless to say we will not be staying there again .

Absolutely disgusting!! Door would not lock on the room, toilet constantly flushing and smelt horrible all around the hotel. The man who assisted us and manager spoke in their own language as if trying to intimidate us 9on the phone when we complained. I spoke to the manager asking for a refund she said no you probably feel uncomfortable due to your mental health issues !!!

The two gentlemen who assisted us were rude , started speaking their own language in front of us guests .we couldn’t even understand a thing as they were ignoring us .They had to walk into the room we were going to stay after giving us keys whenever they wanted .
The room was all dusty , couldn’t even sleep there as we were having allergies from the dusty in the room.
The room was just dirty , dead insects on the window .the room looked like it had not been clean for ages. The bathroom was all smelly and dirty . The dent on the floor

This place would be nice if the owner/manager was nice and wouldn't stroll in your room whenever she feels like it. The woman is out right rude and she has no respect. A few weeks ago, there was a young boy, who wasn't staying at the hotel, he turned up for help during an asthma attack and all the manager cared about was that he was on her property and threatened with police for him to move. She is evil. I've never met such a disgusting and selfish person in my life. Avoid staying here.

Where do I start... Oh yeah avoid this place!!!! ... Channel view hotel, isle of wight.
Just had the worst 5 days of my life and was stuck because went on a coach trip.
I wasn't expecting a 5*but something above a 1* would have been nice.
The place definitely needs closing down and a full refurb.
Even the locals were surprised it was open again and young waitress that started Monday the day we arrived told us she wanted to leave on Tuesday.
The base of the beds are ripped and dirty. no springs in the mattress.
If you are wanting a shower forget that ,the pressure in the room is zero.
Taps on the basin loose.
Plug socket cover not fitted on right.
And the list goes on

Giving it a star is actually a joke, went on a group trip with my friends, made a mistake and booked this hotel instead of the other hotel, worst experience ever. The receptionist was rude, they didn’t speak English but their own language, checked in into our room, i don’t even know why this hotel is still operating, the room was dirty, smelly and dusty everywhere, we had to find another place to stay we couldn’t sacrifice one night there.

This was the third place we booked into after water issues with our first two preferences and we really landed on our feet! Gorgeous views, good location and friendly staff. There was an 80s/90s event that weekend which was so much fun and great to feel included. The swimming pool and the sauna were an added bonus and certainly helped to make this the relaxed and fun weekend we intended it to be.

I am at this hotel now staying for 2 nights for a family funeral booked it as it was a good price and we needed 4 rooms. I was a bit worried after reading reviews but I have found the room to be clean and comfortable it is a budget hotel but has everything you need nice clean white linen on the beds we had 2 singles but some others in our group had a double so I guess it's luck of the draw. Nice clean white towels good shower tea& coffee making facilities and only a 5 min walk to the seafront basically it does what it says on the tin! If your after luxury this is not the place for you but if your after a clean cheap hotel in a good location don't let the bad reviews put u off
