I recently stayed at Channels Lodge for my wedding and had a fabulous time. The staff are helpful and respond to emails quickly. The room we stayed in (Hazel Suite) was luxurious and comfortable, and the perfect size for a wedding party getting ready (myself, one bridesmaid and various makeup artists and hairdressers). The amenities are well thought out and there's everything you could need. Breakfast at Belsteads Cafe was also included. ||We had a lot of guests staying at Channels Lodge for the wedding and everyone commented on how nice the rooms were. I would definitely be happy to stay at Channels again, and would recommend it if you're after a lovely, reasonably priced hotel that feels special.

When we checked in at reception, staff were very attentive. We were shown to our 'room'. Breakfast / dining options explained.|The bed was lovely and big, great for stretching out !|My only criticism would be the mini bar. I never touch because of the over inflated prices. Hence why I gave 4 stars. |A lovely place, good food in the restaurant (do book a table)|I would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely place to stay! We got married just down the road at little channels and our wedding party all stayed here and only good reviews for our stay here. The beds were massive, rooms were clean and the breakfast in the morning was 10/10. We would definitely recommend Channels as a place to stay.

We have been to Channels a few times and it doesn't get any better than the food and service that you get here.
Sunday lunch was tasty and cooked to perfection within a good timescale,even with a busy service.
The staff are very polite and professional.
Excellent venue for a special meal or just an excellent Sunday lunch

Excellent hotel. Just a perfect hotel to return to after a days work. Very comfortable accommodation with lots of space to relax or finish off some work. Food in the Bistro was excellent on both days. Staff are super friendly. Parking is very good and close to the rooms. The "rooms" are really a small attached bungalow with high quality fittings and toiletries. Wonderful and comfortable bed. My favourite hotel, always stay there when I'm anywhere near. Very reasonably priced. Just wish all hotels were as good as Channels.

We met some lovely family for Sunday lunch which was delicious with excellent service . The real WOW was our room ( Chestnut ) which was absolutely stunning and far outweighed expectations |The following morning we had breakfast and was agin joined by our lovely family . Time flew by and we asked and we’re granted an extra hour to vacate room ..thank you 🙏|Finally a massive thank you to the two magnificent ladies in the Coffee shop . Fair to say I think Monday morning had presented one or two challenges 😂 but they coped brilliantly and their customer service was exceptional…thank you . |This establishment is an absolute credit and we really appreciated your excellent service so massive well done to whole team 👏👏👏

I stayed at Channels as my partner was having surgery at a nearby hospital.|We stayed in the Oaks suite, which was absolutely fantastic. The room was big and the bathroom massive.|Powerful shower, gorgeous rolltop bath, the bed was VERY comfy.|Also, all of the team working at the hotel, whether in the hotel or in the coffee shop were super friendly and helpful. Very welcome for Northerners heading to the South

Attended here for my granddaughters wedding . The food was excellent couldn’t fault it and the waiting staff were very good and very obliging . My two grandsons didn’t want the children’s meal and we asked if they could have the same as us and it was absolutely no trouble for them and a new meal was bought out to them within 10 minutes . The room we stayed in was lovely spotlessly clean and spacious and the breakfast the following morning
Was delicious , again the staff were very good and professional.
