A beautiful place to stay when visiting Ludlow. Great location, staff were always available and attentive to our needs. The room we stayed in was Montague, it was just what we needed and not too hot. Tea and coffee facilities in the room with a fridge. Hairdryer and storage wardrobe area. The bathroom was spacious, toiletries available and the bed was super comfortable with great views of the river, nice and peaceful for a good night's rest, we couldn't even hear the church bells ringing. Breakfast was beautiful looking out onto the river with plenty to choose from on the menu. The staff were spot on!
The car park was very busy on a Friday evening, only a couple of spaces available at the far end.
Our only issue was that we arrived at different times, after travelling nearly 2 hours to get there, you have to pay on arrival, so wasn't allowed into the room till the person who was paying was present. Not a big issue but would have been a nicer welcome to not have to wait with luggage for an hour to unload and enjoy the first impressions on the experience. Hence 4 starts. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely hotel and restaurant, in a good location within easy walking distance to nice shops and restaurants, with a beautiful spot on the river and with parking. Picked this place after being laughably let down by a pub with rooms outside of town.

Dinner here was very nice, only complaint would be no bread served during service, and no smart TVs in the room, but otherwise suited our needs perfectly

We stayed in othello. The room was absolutely spotlessly clean and a great size. Huge double bath and shower not to mention private hot tub. Breakfast and evening meals were superb. Every member of staff so polite and welcoming. Going back in October for another 2 nights great place, great location.

We enjoyed a night and dinner here. We had a beautiful room
with terrace overlooking the river. Couldn't fault the accommodation. The bed was a bit smaller than we were used
to. Overall a great experience lovely staff at Breakfast in the morning. The hotel for us was quite warm, although better than being cold! Would definitely recommend to others!

Wonderful rural inn with brilliant staff. We were made very welcome and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, well appointed, everything you could need and very clean. The breakfast and dinner was great with some unusual choices as well as some pub favourites. The bar and lounge are welcoming and comfortable with a choice of real ale as a bonus. Plenty of friendly locals , which is always a good sign. We'll definitely return. Thanks for a lovely, relaxing break.

We had booked for lunch on Saturday in the pub. The service was exceptional and the food beautifully presented and delicious. We also had a great table overlooking the river. We would highly recommend a visit. If you want food, booking seems a good idea, as it is very popular.

Lovely setting, friendly staff and great communication prior to arrival. We were a party of 12 and were accommodated in the conservatory area which was lovely. Food was delicious, service great and is it hadn’t been doe heavy fog I’m sure the views of the river would be delightful! Would definitely recommend !

Incredible hotel, had everything you could want or need. It was cozy, so comfortable and the staff were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and they were always smiling and attentive. The rooms were well appointed, warm and ours had amazing views over the river.|We ate in the restaurant both nights we were there and the food was exceptional. Great breakfast and dinner had a good choice of dishes, all really well cooked.
