Beautifully prepared & cooked.
Even catered for my dietary needs.
Beautifully soft locally sourced produce, lovely handmade meaty burgers & to die for thick milkshakes.
They went above and beyond to satisfy us.
Fully engaged experience with the customers, was lovely seeing everyone from the bald builders team. They are so down to earth and humble.
Next time I want a hug off grotbags (I was a bit shy to ask-love her ❤️).
We stopped by with the family, was worth every penny and more….
We came away very satisfied and eager to visit again.

Popped in to see what all the fuss was about and was not disappointed. The staff were indeed friendly as stated previously. However, in contrast to previous reviews, I found the quality of the meat and in particular, the bacon, to be amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed what we had. It's outdoor (ish) seating so take a coat if it's a cold day. The menu is so varied too, hotdogs, toasties, baguettes etc. Really lovely. The vanilla milkshake was also a win!

Visited the bald kitchen this afternoon, all the staff are nice a welcoming. The milkshakes was the best ever packed with flavour. The food didn't let us down too, all cooked fresh to order, bacon cheese burger with that lush gerkin sause was fantastic. The chicken burger looked amazing so will try that next time.
Definitely recommend.

Travelled up from Southampton today to try the bacon cheese burger and milkshake with my son. I've been ranting on about this place since opening and can honestly say that you didn't disappoint. The burger was so filling that I struggled to finish it and the milkshake was the best I ever tasted. 😋 customer service was fantastic and Matt checked that all was OK with our order by checking in on our table like a true chef. Rocky road was purchased to take to work colleagues the next day and We will defo be back again. Next time I'm bringing the dogs and buying them sausages to eat , wish I'd known dogs were welcome . (DONT FORGET TO MENTION THIS GUYS) 😊 thank you so much. 💓

Drove 2 hours to try this place, set up is really nice, really good value, food was lush and staff spot on. The fella even gave us some car stickers too which is a nice touch.
We will return and recommend.

Headed down to The Bald Kitchen soon after it opened having followed on social media and only being down the road. The staff were super friendly. While I was about to order the guy from the garden centre had to shut off the power (one off) and the staff were so apologetic. Not at all their fault and I had time so I got the laptop out to do a bit of work while I waited and it was worth waiting for. Lovely bacon cheeseburger. Husband loved his too which I took back for him. Had a great latte and two yummy cupcakes. Rhi let me have a few books for my little girl who absolutely loves them and for days after kept asking me to read her them. Would recommend people stop by and will make an effort to stop by for coffee or food when I'm passing that way 🙂 good to support a family business with a good ethos and who aren't afraid of hard work.

Popped in for a cheeky Tuesday takeaway. Absolutely fabulous friendly service, the quality of the food is excellent. We had the bacon cheeseburger chips and cookielicious? (Think that's what it's called) will definitely be back 😋

I cannot review as I saw this place only because I visited the relatively newly opened Garden Centre next door - but wasn't asked to review that! The cafe is attached.

I can only say that it has a very attractive outside area to sit and eat and drink- no inside one.
On line ordering available it seems. Takeaway toasties, burgers, cakes, drinks, etc. Google it on line as I did. Plenty of parking, looked very clean. I didn't have time today but would definitely try it next time if it's a nice day.
