Fun place for families. Lodges lots of extra s. Our lodge has lots of damaged bits and bobs such as little dents and knocks on the doors. Besides the damage it usable and quite good. Reception are helpful and friendly. Maintenance man came quickly with a few issues we had.
Pool was booked.
For the price and location it is good.

I think we got unlucky with the lodge we were given. Very tired and dated. Grubby, leak and wet floor. Pool recently refurbished and pleasant but not really for swimming, more families to have a mess about and play ball, so great for younger families. Staff friendly and pleasant but no consistency in information given. Lots of contradicting information.

Myself and my partner had a lovely stay here last week. The staff are so friendly and very attentive.
We ate in the restaurant 2 nights and both nights the food was delicious and the waiters were lovely too.
We did have a problem with the hot tub one day but we phoned reception and they sent out someone immediately and fixed the issue for us.
The site is beautiful and well taken care of.
The only thing I would say is that they do come and check your hot tub in the morning which would wake some people if you’re a light sleeper and one morning we also had someone come to jet wash our patio which again would wake some people but to us it wasn’t an issue at all as to us it showed they cared and were making the stay as nice and as clean as possible.
Overall we would definitely stay here again, can’t comment on the swimming/sauna as we did use.

Lovely Center Parcs style resort based in Cheddar. The lodges are spacious and well maintained. Plenty of them come with a hot tub. Lovely walks around the area. Swimming pool and some activities for the kids. Great place to stay.

We previously visited cheddar woods and decided to book a short Christmas break as we had a great time on our first visit. ||However we were disappointed with the restaurant as we booked to eat there on the evening at 7pm on the first night. When we went up at our time were told that majority of the mains were unavailable as they had a busy day. As you can appreciate this was disappointing as on our previous visit we had really enjoyed the meals. This led to us not booking a meal again for the remainder of our break because we didn’t trust they would have the food available so we went to the local supermarket and ended up cooking in the lodge which was annoying as we wanted a break from the norm. ||TIP if you do book a table ask before if they have food available. ||On the Sunday we were having a drink in the bar and there were children running around the restaurant and bar area, screaming whilst people were eating and enjoying a drink and also with hot food and beverages being carried around. Appreciate there is a fun zone attached to the bar but there should restrictions for bar/restaurant. ||On a positive the reception staff were friendly and helpful. ||The lodge was clean and had all the necessary essentials. ||It is 50/50 if we would return to cheddar woods based on this experience as it was quite an expensive weekend.

Myself and my daughter had the best weekend away before Christmas, the accommodation was lovely, spacious and very clean with everything that we needed. We were minutes from the reception and all the facilities which again were lovely and very clean.
Great choice of fun activities for the children Megan, Will and Teb’s were wonderful and helpful my daughter really enjoyed her time with them.
Great food and drinks on offer in the restaurant.
The best part of the trip for me was all the wonderful staff you have working there, nothing is too much trouble they are so helpful and kind so massive thanks too

This was our first stay here and we loved it. The Lodge was excellent with all you need even a washing machine and dish washer for longer stays. We had a large balcony with great views over the park and near by reservoir. We took our dog and she was welcomed though out the park and club house. The swimming pool was warm with great changing rooms. All the staff were polite and very helpful. Great location for trios to Longleat, Cheddar Caves, Wookey Hole and weston-super-Mare. Can’t wait to stay again

I will start with the positives. When we arrived at our lodge, visually it seemed appealing and looked very nice. The hot tub was very nice and we used it everyday. Kitchen was good and very spacious. Overall a very nice place.||My main concerns and bad feedback would be, when we started to use items such as the Tv ours was damaged presumably by the last people who were here and had a crack in it so we couldn’t really use it. As our holiday progressed through out the days we were here we found more issues, the flush in the smaller toilet did not flush properly. The door handle to the second bedroom came completely off. I reported this to the reception and they said they would send someone out, however they did not we waited hours yet the issues were not sorted. The fire in our living room was faulty and was flickering constantly. The bulb in our bedroom blew (which can’t really be helped) however all of these issues could have been avoided had the lodge been checked over properly before handing it over to us. All in all I found the stay inadequate and would unlikely return due to all of the issues we had that did not get resolved. I will likely ask for a partial refund.
