Chef Duet, and the talented Donna, truly delivered an unforgettable culinary experience at our wedding on June 30th, 2023. The menu, titled "Eastern Temptations," was an absolute delight. The guests couldn't stop raving about the delectable dishes served. But the real star of the show was the dessert, which was simple and yet soo elevated with the experience factor incorporated into it by the team.

Donna's team went above and beyond by providing an exquisite cheese, cheesecake, and crackers spread that added an extra layer of sophistication to the event. It's clear that Chef Duet pays meticulous attention to both flavor and presentation.

Donna and her team not only satisfied our taste buds but also left a lasting impression on everyone at the wedding. My family hired Chef Duet to cater for a birthday celebration recently.
Canapés and a dinner were served during the evening, however, despite both written and verbal reminders of my granddaughter’s egg and milk allergy, we were served canapés deemed suitable for her, one of which contained cheese!
Worse still and most dangerous was a chocolate fondant dessert given to her by the chef’s husband, who was acting as a waiter.
Their mistake could have hospitalised my granddaughter, she suffered a severe reaction for hours.
What could have been a wonderful celebration turned into an agonising and distressing time for her and all her family.

The food was delicious. However, my daughter has an egg and milk allergy and was given a dessert containing egg, despite my family and I constantly advising of her allergy. All of the desserts looked the same and the chef apparently made a vegan version for my daughter, but the waiter gave the vegan dessert to the wrong child, despite us checking several times. Unfortunately, this resulted in my daughter suffering an allergic reaction and naturally ruined the evening. There were several other mistakes regarding allergies during the evening, which is completely unacceptable.

My daughter has a milk and egg allergy, she was served a dessert which contained both milk and egg! Luckily she was very distressed and uncomfortable but luckily her symptoms eased over time, but this could have been so much worse.

Overall a huge lack of care and attention.

I would not recommend using this catering company if you or family/friends suffer with allergies!

Chef duet are incredible. The most friendly thoughtful talented catering team you NEED in your life.

The canapes were incredible (I still dream of the Arancini) and they make sure the bride and groom get their own personal platter to try them ALL.

Our wedding breakfast was perfect, every guest said how tasty it was. The desserts were to die for!

Working them to create our wedding menu was easy and communication is fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble!

I can't recommend them enough!

We were looking for a caterer for our vegan wedding at Tawstock Court; they recommended Chef Duet who we contacted. From our first meeting, it was clear that Donna was going to produce a delicious menu, enthusiastically taking on board our ideas but also had many of her own. In the end we went for canapes with drinks before the wedding breakfast, mains of moussaka, massaman curry or chestnut gnocchi with mushrooms followed by trifle, sticky toffee pudding or coconut mousse for dessert. We also asked Donna to bake a three tier wedding cake with lime and coconut, black forest and cherry bakewell which she also took on with enthusiasm. There were many compliments for the food, even from non vegans, and our only regret is that we could not try everything. Many thanks to Donna, Simon and team for contributing to a great day! xx

Chef Duet were fantastic and our day would not have run as smoothly or been as amazing without them! We couldn’t recommend them enough to everyone who’s looking for a super friendly, supportive team and, most importantly delicious food ?

Donna worked with us to create a bespoke menu of pescatarian food for our entire day, from serving amazing Italian canapés to the main event of delicious salmon and cannelloni. They also stepped in when another catering company let us down for our evening pizzas and served a great spread, along with a huge pile of yummy brownies!

The service on the day was fantastic, and the whole team helped out wherever they could with a smile to boot. Thank you for helping us have such a beautiful and memorable wedding day! Jen & Nev
