Thank you so very much for the travelling to the Lakes to prepare dinner for 8 to celebrate our daughter's 30th birthday. The food of yours was incredible: so much so, we haven't stopped talking about it since! One of the things that made the night so special is that both you and Jake were so willing to chat to us, despite the pressure of having to come up with those incredible plates of food.

Honestly amazing! ? Had Mike, Nick and Jake cooking for 12 of us at my sister's hen do. We ourselves hadn't seen the accomodation in person or knew quite what the ovens were like. they turned up, got to work with no faff! Mike introduced them and welcomed questions about the food and master chef. my sister is a big foodie so she had lots of questions and loved every second of it. The food was divine, we did the 3 course gastro pub menu and the vegetarian alternatives were absolutely banging!! The guys were such a good laugh and such a good addition to our party, can't recommend Mike and his team enough!! Will deffo go back to Mike for my future private dining needs!!

I organised for Mike to cook for us as a celebration for my Mums birthday. From the very first email I sent, Mike was always quick to reply and very helpful in answering all of my questions. He was very professional, turning up on time and leaving the kitchen in an imaculate condition. The food was absolutley amazing - we had the 4 course meal and devoured every course. What a really special evening we had! Thank you Mike for a memorable meal and celebration!

A truly wonderful evening had in February to celebrate my 60th birthday and retirement.
We were a party of 7 and chose the 7 course taster menu.
Mike was able to cater for all our food intolerances and preferences.
All the courses were beautifully prepared, well presented and extremely enjoyable
Mike took the time to explain each course as they were being served
He was assisted by the lovely Jake.
Both were happy to answer questions and were happy for any of the party to join them in the kitchen to watch and ask questions. (on this occasion , I wished I had a kitchen diner, and not a separate dining room).
Mike and Jake brought all the equipment they required with them, including crockery, all that was required of us was to lay the table and provide the wine glasses (and content, lol).
The kitchen was left spotless.
We would certainly recommend Mike to all our friends and family, who are wanting to celebrate a special occasion with a very personal touch.
Thank you Mike (and Jake) for helping to make my celebration very memorable
We cannot wait for your restaurant Jord to be up and running, and shall see you there.

Booked Mike for my husbands 50th Birthday with friends.
OMG!
We had the 7 course taster menu. Every course was exceptional. It was a fantastic evening, very professional, both Mike and his collegue were so lovely, happy to chat between courses and it was lovely to hear about his master chef experience.

Amazing experience with Mike as our chef for a hen do. He didn't bat an eyelid at our pyjamas and happily answered our questions and let me watch the cooking. The food was absolutely completely delicious ?
