This is our fourth visit to the Cheriton guesthouse. Very friendly and helpful hosts.| Comfortable rooms and a place to park our cars.| Handy for walking into the town.|The breakfasts were excellent. |Nice wooded park to the rear of the guesthouse.

The Cheriton Guest House is located about 1 mile from the seafront and backs onto a lovely park. It offers good, reasonable, priced traditional bed and breakfast.

Rooms are clean, spacious, and serviced on a daily basis. All rooms are ensuite, and free car parking is available.

Breakfast was excellent, setting us up for the day, and the hotel provided a varied menu.

Our room was one of two with a balcony, which is ideal on a sunny evening.

The only slight issue we experienced was that our bed had what appeared to be a new mattress, which was beyond hard!

Apart from that excellent value for money.

My wife stayed here this week.||Dawn and Martin fantastic hosts. Extremely comfortable bed, superb linen, spotlessly clean, lovely bathroom. Brilliant breakfast, easy car parking within grounds of property. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there - so much so that I didn’t want to leave to come home !!

Really enjoyed my stay..Lovely welcome from Dawn and Martin. Very comfortable bed in my single room.. Breakfast couldn't be faulted either.10 minutes walk from the seafront.

Fantastic guest house.......||Back home Sunday night after a two night stay here.||Exceptional hosts...they went above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed.||I unfortunately sustained an ankle injury during my time in Sidmouth (not at the guest house just to add!)||Dawn went above and beyond to help and even called around the local hospital facilities to see where I could go on a Sunday.||I highly recommend this guest house. Dawn and Martin are brilliant hosts,lovely location and room and the breakfast is done to suit your requirements .||I will definitely be visiting here again.||Honestly the best place I have ever stayed!

Martin and Dawn are great hosts. The guest house is in a great location for both walking into town and for eateries - Neil's and The Volunteer both highly recommended. Breakfast was perfectly freshly cooked with a great choice.

We stayed in the double and twin rooms as a family of four to visit Sidmouth for Christmas. Clean and comfortable rooms and a smashing breakfast in the morning. Welcoming and friendly hosts and all within easy walking distance to the town centre. Thank you so much, a perfect pre Christmas break.
