My partner had booked us The Nest barn for a birthday weekend away.
It was so lovely and romantic on arrival - was really set up nicely. It was clean and cosy - there was some milk and water in the fridge - coffee and tea all provided.
My partner had requested champagne on arrival but there was a little communication error, this was quickly rectified though may I add once it was raised.
The host otherwise you could not fault very friendly and honest.

The bed is super soft and comfy - even had a fan which my partner was happy about as it does get warm upstairs at night.

The outside bath is a great little extra - we stayed in February so it was cold outside but so lovely in there!

Pub was in walking distance - other places for food not far away either. Nice to visit Nantwich town centre to - which is only 15mins in the car.
A very relaxing weekend away just the two of us - felt like it was just what we needed.

We had a delightful post-Christmas stay in the Cowshed. Very easy self-check in. Relaxation was almost instantaneous as we walked into peaceful classical music playing on the sound system, beautiful aromas and lovely decor. We felt right at home immediately and had a wonderfully relaxing stay. The nearby canal made for some lovely sunny and picturesque walks and we had some nice meals in the recommended nearby restaurants. A great place to rest and detox from the usual pace of life....reading with the log burner on....having a relaxed movie night....cosy lie-ins....enjoying the quiet of the countryside with arable views....and more....can't wait to return.

Wow, what an amazing place to stay. We arrived to our early check in on Saturday to find the balloons we'd ordered dotted around the place, the log burner ready to light and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. All the little touches and decorations make The Cowshed just a beautiful place to wile away the hours and get some rest and relaxation from normal day to day. Would highly recommend, and definitely hoping to return soon.

Myself and my wife stayed here for a mini-moon straight after our Wedding. It was the perfect way to just chill out and relax. We stayed at the Cowshed, location was down a quiet country lane, only a 10 minute walk to the nearby village which has a pub and a cafe.
The Cowshed itself was amazing, it was such a cozy and relaxed place to stay, with everything you need and more - there are a lot of nice little touches which complete the place. The bed was extremely comfy, and we could've easily slept all day.
Would definitely recommend, and we would not hesitate in returning - or checking out one of the other accomodations!

We stayed in The Cowshed for our honeymoon with our 8 month old and it was absolutely perfect. The barn is super clean and has all the little touches that make your stay so much better. It was completely private but the owner was easy to contact if you have any questions etc.
We will definitely be returning!!

Wow! What a stunning find! I booked a one night stay in The Cow Shed as a surprise break for my husband’s 40th birthday. I called Rachael to book and she was so friendly and amenable. Nothing was too much trouble. I knew we would be arriving earlier than our check in time so I booked a taxi (using the list of available services sent by Rachael) to take us to The Cholmondeley Arms (again recommended by Rachael) what a place that is! We had a beautiful Sunday lunch and bottle of wine in the most beautiful building. I highly recommend a visit!
Taxi back to check in to the Cow Shed and settle for the night. Everything about the place was stunning. The kitchen, the living room, the bedroom, the shower room, the bed upstairs, the outside area.. all immaculately clean and just so inviting. It was everything I had hoped it would be for a quiet, relaxing escape. Can not recommend this place enough!

Booked 'The Nest' in a bit of a hurry, for my nephews wedding. Only stayed for 8 hours! Wish I'd have stayed longer. Lovely place, down a quiet farm road. Got there at 1am, and it was lovely and warm and cosy (let them know what time you're arriving and they'll nail it)! Surprised that I had upstairs and downstairs and a semi-outdoors space, maybe for vapours, etc.

Expensive, but I could see why! Ideal getaway for you and your wife/girlfriend. I spilt a bit of coffee on my bed linen but was never charged.

I think I'll be back... It's such a relaxing place. Treat yourself and your loved one.

Bottom line... not cheap but... you'll see why. Have a long weekend there with the person you love.

We just spent four wonderful nights over Christmas at Cheshire Boutique Barns! We stayed in the Cow Shed and it was so lovely - cosy, comfortable and festive! Rachael and Julie are so helpful and accommodating too. It was my second time staying at CBB and I hope to not leave it as long as last time to return 🙂 Thanks so much! 💕
