My girlfriend and I stayed at Chestnut Lodge for the first time over the Easter Weekend and had an amazing stay. Everything was perfect. Pandora, the owner of Chestnut Lodge, is a lovely, kind warm lady and a terrific hostess. She went out of her way to make sure we had the best possible stay imaginable and we left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. The house and surroundings were stunning and tranquil and our room, with a huge bed and fantastic en suite bathroom was very comfortable. The interior decor of the house was incredibly stylish and chic without being austere and Pandora's warmth pervaded throughout the house creating a very calm and peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was superb too. We both highly recommend Pandora's delicious home made granola! All in all, we felt our stay conjured up something akin to a luxury boutique hotel experience, whilst at the same time providing the personal touch and warmth of a great bed and breakfast in someone's beautiful home. A great combination indeed and all at a very reasonable cost. It goes without saying that we will both be staying here again and look forward to seeing Pandora and her lovely dogs May and Finlay very soon hopefully! We can't recommend this beautiful B and B and its wonderful hostess enough.

I don't normally write reviews but the fabulous Pandora, her beautiful B&B and the gorgeous pooches were too lovely not to! Booked last min Pandora couldn't have been more helpful, welcoming and accommodating...from the breakfast food and times, suggestions of outings and places to eat, to her great chat. The photos don't do the house justice its beautiful and in a lovely quiet area but in close distance to loads of attractions. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and comfy with lots of quality little touches. In short definitely book Chestnut Lodge is too lovely not to!

Staying in the Chestnut Lodge B&B with Pandora was the perfect way of ending our holiday in GB. Even though the weather was bad the warmth of Pandora and her two great dogs warmed our hearts. The B&B is tastefully furnished and decorated and the breakfast room is a real gem. Breakfast was perfect with everything you could ask for from fresh fruit to ceral and of course eggs, bacon and so on. ||I would like to thank Pandora for a great stay and can only recommend the Chestnut Lodge to anyone who is looking for a lovely place to stay.

Chestnut Lodge is one of the nicest and friendliest B and B's we have stayed in and everything was perfect from start to finish. Pandora is a great host and nothing was too much trouble for her - from recommending and booking a table at a local pub for dinner to dishing up a perfect breakfast the following day. The location is also brilliant for a weekend away - close enough to Rye/ Hastings etc but also away from the crowds in a very peaceful spot. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had the most pleasant stay at Chestnut Lodge B&B. We had booked very last minute and when we arrived soon after, Pandora was there to welcome us and show us round.||Chestnut Lodge is very comfortable, with everything you could need in the room. The B&B is well situated for many fabulous visits and is a short drive from Rye. In the room there is a bulging file of leaflets and information of local gardens, walks, National Trust properties etc that Pandora has collected. There is no shortage of things to visit in the area.||On the first evening Pandora recommended a local restaurant, phoned ahead and booked a table for us. Nothing was too much trouble. ||||With so many things still to visit in the area we hope to return to Chestnut Lodge in the near future. Thank you Pandora, ||A & M

Hosted by the incredible Pandora this was a unique b&b experience and a memorable way to spend an anniversary. The Lodge is beautiful and words can't really do it justice. Nothing about it is mundane or everyday, from bedside tables ordered from Italy to the striking bathroom floor covering from Germany. And that's just the bedroom ! The whole house has something special that separates it from the usual b&b including the owner who is extremely helpful, interesting, thoughtful and funny. The two pooches are adorable and very well behaved. Lots of choice for breakfast which is served in a light and spacious room overlooking a terrace and part of the garden which november weather didn't allow us to explore. We would highly recommend chestnut lodge ||for a great stay.

This was a celebratory treat for joint 70th birthdays for myself and a friend. We wanted something a bit special and we certainly found it in Pandora's beautiful house and genuine, warm hospitality. We were her only guests for our four night stay, and she treated us like friends, as did May and Finlay, her canine family. Delicious breakfasts in the orangery set us up for the day, and Pandora was able to recommend eating places for the evening, which she was happy to book for us. Nothing was too much trouble - she even laid on lovely weather and needless to say, we were very reluctant to leave her. We certainly hope to return.

We recently stayed at Chestnut Lodge as we were going to a concert in the local area. We received a lovely email from Pandora when we booked letting us know all of the restaurants in the local area and the welcome when we arrived (nearly 2 hours late!) was just as welcoming.||Our room was delightful and breakfast the following morning with the other guests was superb. ||When we left Pandora gave us details of places to visit to finish off our weekend.||
