Absolutely lovely staff. I go here most Tuesdays with my little girl. They always accommodate her pram and go above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable. The food is also very good. I love the waffles, the weekly dhal (in the winter) and the sunshine platter (in the summer) I absolutely love the hot chocolate too.

Lovely little cafe, perfect for a coffee and bit of brunch. Had the breakfast burrito with chilli jam which was delicious and also an oat milk cappuccino. Friendly service and lovely and chilled atmosphere. Great to see something like this open in the area.

The service workers were welcoming and friendly. My table was cleaned and the seating was comfortable. I had the autumn squash salad, blueberry muffin and a cauliflower chickpea curry pasty. Everything was super delicious! The coffee I had was also lovely and smooth. If you're in the area, I reccomend a visit!

Every time I have eaten at Chestnut and Rose, the food has been delicious, from salad bowls to amazing Belgium Waffles. Full of flavour, plentiful, and as a vegetarian, I don't have to worry about what's on my plate or in my food. Cakes always look so delicious.
Although I am not a part of the community (I go out of my way to visit!), I love the fact that the cafe and staff place themselves in the heart of their local community and offer clubs, workshops and meet ups to their customers. The staff seem to really know their regulars.
Friends who are not on a plant base diet have also been highly impressed.
I would fully recommend to anyone.

This is a fantastic little vegan cafe. My family and I love popping in to enjoy a drink and cake. So much so both my girls ordered birthday cakes from there this year. The cakes were fantastic and enjoyed by everyone.
The staff here are all lovely and welcoming. This shop does alot for the community and I would recommend it to everyone vegan or not.

Great little cafe that we are happy to travel to. Would definitely recommend!

I really loved the Chickn Caesar salad and would have that again. I also recommend the biscoff tiffin. *Chefs kiss*

I have been visiting the Chestnut & Rose since I went dairy free as my newborn baby was allergic to milk. I turned up to the cafe with a newborn baby on the verge of tears because I didn’t think I’d find food that was nice or tasty! I was greeted by the lovely Sam, I explained my situation and how I felt a bit lost. She talked me through their menu, what alternatives they use, gave me ideas of good quality brands, who to follow on instagram for recipe ideas and asked Sarah the owner to help. I have since been going back regularly with family, friends or even on my own for breakfast and lunches. The food is absolutely delicious, probably my favourite cafe in Ipswich! I have been regularly getting a half and half brunch box when I meet up with my cousin. We always comment on the quality and how exceptional the food really is! I haven’t had a bad bite of food. Ever!
Everyone is friendly, the counter is always bursting with delicious treats and I’m always amazed that everything I get from there tastes great!
