From the moment we arrived to knew we had made the right choice. Toni greeted us with a warm smile and immediately reorganised the off-street parking to accommodate us. ||Our king size room was spotlessly clean and the large bed was so comfortable. A bonus was Netflix which was free and welcome.||Breakfast was plentiful all cooked fresh and all tastes catered for. Over the bank holiday weekend Toni was on his own and managed amazingly well, especially as all 5 rooms came down for breakfast practically together on the Monday! What a star!||6 minutes pleasant walking to city centre & sights.||Toni recommended restaurants and a free tour which was perfect. Also Laycock village on our way home and again his recommendation was superb. ||We would definitely stay here if ever in Bath in the future

I had the most wonderful night's sleep in the comfiest bed. So many perfect little touches in the room, with a lovely lounge and garden. The whole place was spotless, very well supplied with lovely toiletries, cakes on arrival, even fresh milk in the fridge. We had a warm, helpful, but not intrusive welcome, our room had Netflix and there was free parking. The breakfast was stunning. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The Chestnuts House is simple elegance! The bed was luxurious, the bath was conveniently equipped, and the extra touches were welcomed ... fresh afternoon treats to have with our tea. Toni was the perfect host for breakfast offering delicious choices from pastries to a full English breakfast. The location was a delightful walk to the center of Bath.

From arrival to checkout, Toni was warm, welcoming & extremely helpful. The whole place was elegant & spotlessly clean. Our room was fabulous & had everything you need to make a holiday perfect - with the added bonus of sweet treats left each day. Breakfast was superb. Fresh produce, lots of choices & all prepared excellently. Everything was so tasty & the portions really generous. Finally, the location was great being just a short stroll to centre of town & most of the tourist must-sees. Cannot fault a thing. Thanks again to Toni & the team. We had a lovely time.

My partner and I stayed for two nights over the Valentine's weekend. We were enormously impressed and thankful to Tony for his wonderful hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were immaculate and the sweet treats were much appreciated. And breakfast took it to a new level, absolutely delicious and catered for food intolerances fantastically. |We'll definitely be back!

We stayed for 3 nights from the 7th April and had a really great time at Chestnuts House. Everything about our visit was amazing - really nice room and very nice breakfast. As some other people have said, a great point about Chestnuts is that you can leave the car and everything in Bath is within 10 minutes walk. Overall very enjoyable.

Could not agree more with the previous reviews. Lovely rooms, spotlessly clean with lots of thoughtful touches - cakes and fresh milk included. Superb location within easy walking distance of Bath’s main attractions. What a find. Will be returning.

I have just stayed at Chestnuts. From the moment I had booked to the (delayed) moment I left I was treated brilliantly by Toni, Dawn, Sue, Shannon and Kim. ||Dawn very patiently guided me through the maze of streets when I arrived lost. Sue greeted me warmly at the door. My bedroom was spacious, very clean and had every comfort imaginable (and a few just added - fresh carrot cake!). The bathroom, too, was spacious, very modern (with a rain shower) and highly specc'd. ||Breakfast was beautifully cooked and very generous. It offers, additionally, many alternatives to the traditional British fry up (including a vegetarian option). ||They also very kindly found me a place so that I did not have to incur additional parking charges for the day. ||It is also really well located for all the sights in Bath so that once you have got there you can simply walk to them.
