We stayed at Chevin Country park in on of their beautiful lodges for 2 nights for our wedding. The reception team were extremely helpful in helping to accommodate my bridal party who were coming to get ready with me in my cabin. The room was beautiful and clean and the hot tub felt so luxurious. We had breakfast on our wedding day and it was delicious and the lakeside restaurant felt so intimate and peaceful. We have already agreed to book another trip when we have time to enjoy all of the facilities they have to offer.

Had a lovely few days away, my son enjoyed watching the ducks and squirrels out of the window. The tea,coffee and biscuits selection in the room is great (love a Yorkshire tea). We also had some wonderful service, especially from Victoria (from the spa) who helped carry our stuff to the room (2 kids = lots of stuff) and noticed our heating wasn’t working properly, but she reported it for us and it was sorted swiftly. Such a beautiful location and friendly staff.

Our Sunday lunch at The Chevin Hotel was a delightful escape! The food was absolutely superb - cooked to perfection, bursting with fresh flavors and high-quality ingredients. The desserts were just as impressive, leaving us very happy and full ?
The hotel itself has a charming, relaxing ambiance. The scent of pine instantly transported us to a peaceful haven, a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The staff were all very nice, We were particularly impressed with Melissa, who provided exceptional service in the restaurant. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and willingness to answer all our questions made our experience even more enjoyable.

Booked a surprise night away for my husbands 50th . I was assured we would be upgraded and they would make an effort at dinner. The rooms were dated and not upgraded, the pool cold and the hot tub not working -no extra effort at dinner- feeling really disappointed- I spoke with Victoria- she was so professional and friendly - she sorted the rooms and arranged a private hot tub. She saved our night …. What a lovely lady, nothing was too much trouble she went above and beyond. Thank you

I was given a spa session as a gift - light lunch, treatments then use of the pool and other spa facilities.|First of all the Spa was amazing - the staff were friendly and helpful and the treatments themselves were fabulous. I had the hot rock body massage and my friend had the facial. We were unable to use the pool as it was being filled but did manage a session in the hot tub. For the spa itself I would highly recommend. Yes it could do with a bit of a blitz but in general was clean and fresh and more than expected. |The meal however was a disappointment - a light lunch was included in the gift. We decided to go for a slight upgrade and ordered a steak sandwich - the steak itself was actually rotten - the meat had turned and once that taste is in your mouth you dont want to add to it. We were offered a replacement but declined. Again with desert we upgraded from the one desert included (approx £5) - to a triple for £12 - which turned out to be three mouth size pieces of deserts (no icecream/cream/sauce etc) which was extortionate considering the price of a single. They waived the additional charge for the cakes. Normally in a restaurant you would have a senior member of staff apologising for feeding you rotten meat but it was left to the waitress - who was extremely apologetic and tried her best to offer us something else.|As a diabetic it was not the best experience - luckily I brought a sandwich with me for later in the day||So in general - Spa - AMAZING - will be going back. Restaurant - wont be re-visiting

Hod lovely overnight stay with my boyfriend. Got the Groupon deal bed breakfast and evening meal with a bottle of wine! Food was fabulous we both enjoyed it, spa was great we had to pay £15 to use it in Sunday afternoon though. It would have been free in the morning but didn’t want that. This was also lovely we had a bottle of Prosecco too, it was really busy but managed to use everything. Both sauna and steam room was great. We both agreed that we would definitely go again.

A convenient overnight stay after visiting family in Horsforth. Found the staff very friendly and helpful from reception (Anne-Marie) to the breakfast servers. Our room was on the ground floor with a very comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom. Everything seemed clean and tidy. We also had direct access to an open grassed area and the ducks came to waken us in the morning. There's lots of wood everywhere in the construction. It's a bit like the Little House on the Prairie.

My boyfriend and I had a very, very lovely stay here. I came across this place on BuyAGift, but booked an overnight spa stay directly on their website and what a steal! For £159, we were able to spend the night, each have a 2 course dinner, access the gym, use the spa in the evening and morning, and have breakfast ?. There were various things that made this place feel special. We really liked the rustic cosy vibes of the place but particularly loved the incredibly comfortable bed that swallowed us whole and made sure we stayed asleep for the entire night. So much so, we ended up calling reception to push our breakfast slot back a little ?. We more than appreciated the courteous customer service we received from pretty much everyone who worked there. A special shout out to three people in particular.. Marek who served us in the dining room, a lovely youthful female with a long blonde-ish ponytail who served us at breakfast (sorry we didn’t take your name) and Anne-Marie on the front desk who helped make our stay as smooth sailing as could be from check-in to check-out ☺️ The food was yummy and the spa, relaxing ? Although we didn’t take up the offer, the spa were offering reduced priced treatments at a price I think was rather affordable compared to other places. We stayed on a Thursday when it was relatively quiet too which only added to our relaxation I’d honestly stay here again and would 100% recommend Chevin to others wanting a relaxing break from reality ? !
