We had a wonderful couple weekend away here. It’s like an old grandfather of a hotel, making you feel loved and rested! I wouldn’t bother with the restaurant which was over priced and had an odd atmosphere but the hotel was amazing and the location near the beach was a treat. The spa is wonderful. I really enjoyed the sauna and cold showers, the pool which was fabulous for lengths and the hydrotherapy pool.

Myself and friend booked as special treat to ourselves for our special birthday. |What can I say .. a beautiful stunning looking place & beautiful grounds. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. |We checked in and were upgraded to a junior suite which was so unexpected. We were shown around the hotel and taken to our room where we found champagne chilling on ice & chocolates and fruit with a card from the hotel.. what an absolute lovely thing to do. |The room was beautiful with doors opening onto a private patio. The bed was spotless and the bathroom was so big with everything you needed. |We had booked a cooking afternoon with James Martin at the restaurant called the kitchen. Which was a fabulous experience, and James was great. |We were taken by curtesy of the hotel to the restaurant at the end of the drive and also returned back afterwards.|The staff could not do enough for us. |Breakfast was plentiful and the dining room was lovely & spotless. |We had a walk around the hotel afterwards to see what else there is to offer, a spar pools , nail bar to name a few things we came across..|We had a wonderful time & I can’t fault anything, it was so nice..

We had a great family time at Chewton Glen for our wedding anniversary. Everything was wonderful from warm service to food and spa. We dined at both The Kitchen and The Dining Room restaurants and enjoyed the meals. We particularly enjoyed the bar which has an interesting selection of cocktails. There were many attention to details in general which made our stay very special. We would definitely recommend this hotel and come back there again! Thank you.

We had afternoon tea at this glorious establishment on Wednesday afternoon and as we have a 7 month old puppy we were going to have this outside, however, as the weather looked rather grim the staff setup a table for us inside instead. This was a fantastic start to our experience even before the tea had arrived!! As for the tea etc. it was simply scrumptious and the sandwiches and cakes were fantastic. The staff who looked after us were first class and if you have the opportunity to visit you’ll not be disappointed……

Afternoon tea is one of my favourite things to do and I have sampled some amazing ones all around the world. I can honestly say that this is one of the best ones I have ever had. The staff made the experience really special and the scones were amazing! We weren’t rushed which considering there was more chatting than eating was appreciated. I also like the fact that the remaining cakes were boxed up for us meaning that the treat lasts a little longer. A lovely way to spend a Friday afternoon.

Stayed in June of this year. Absolutely fantastic. We had a smaller room which was honestly plenty for the two of us. Lovely balcony overlooking the manicured lawns. Outdoor pool fantastic. Indoor pool fantastic. Restaurant fantastic. Croquet was fun. Went for my partners birthday. CG organised a lovely bottle of Champagne & stunning flowers on arrival. 15 minute walk to the beach. We will be back - just saving for the tree house so that we can take the little ones too!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Chewton Glen’s Treehouse! The secluded location, surrounded by trees and away from other guests, provided a true sense of privacy and tranquility. The house's design and finishes were exceptional and luxurious, reflecting the high attention to detail. The well-stocked pantry and fridge, along with the morning breakfast hamper, were thoughtful touches.

The hotel grounds were beautiful, and the staff were generally polite and helpful. However, we had a pretty disappointing experience during our dinner at the main restaurant. The service felt rushed and impersonal, and the food was merely satisfactory.
