From the moment we booked, through to online check in and key collection it all went smoothly. The Chimes House accommodation was fantastic and have already recommended it to other members of my family.||||Three double bedrooms and a family room with adjoining room with three single beds this accommodations comfortable holds up to 11 people. TV in all rooms including large sitting room. All bedrooms are en suite with toiletries included.||||There is a large dining kitchen with dishwasher and tablets. All the accessories that you would require including fridge/freezer, cooker/oven/hob and microwave oven for making meals for eat in dining.||||Well appointed accommodation and would highly recommend. Look forward to another visit in the near future.

We stayed here with elderly family members and cannot praise the accommodation and staff highly enough.||We had booked three rooms, one of which was to be the bedroom of the self-catering apartment.||We arrived early and asked about early check in as our parents were struggling after the journey but the accommodation was still being prepared. The member of staff we spoke with offered to call if the rooms were ready early but it transpired the humber on file was wrong. When we checked in we found an e-mail explaining this and the fact that she had left the lounge of the apartment open for us so that our parents had somewhere comfortable to relax during the stay.||We ate in the main hotel restaurant on both nights(breakfast was also served in the restaurant) and we could not fault anything to do with the food or the service.||The staff were so welcoming and helpful and this helped make the stay even more enjoyable.

Stayed here for a weekend with bridesmaids and bride and both mum's to wedding dress shop in the beautiful wedding dress shop in dunblane.||It is so centrally located and we were able to park right outside the apartment...but there is lots of free parking close to it.||Set in a very peaceful location right opposite the magnificent cathedral.||It is located above a pub and we wondered if it might he noisy but never heard a thing at any point!! ||Sittimg room dining room and kitchen on 1st floor nd all bedrooms on next floor up. Very well insulated and soundproofed. ||Beautifully decorated and all furniture high spec and quality.||Kitchen equipped with.eveeything you could ever need and clean up .dishwasher and washing.machine there too...||Shop 2 mins away if you need anything.||Went to pub for a drink on both nights..ws always busy and very friendly.||We had a meal on the 2nd night in old churches house hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it.||The young man who served us was so professional and attentive ..and the young lady who helped as just lovelt ( sorry didn't catch names)...food was lovely and was just a lovely evening.||Followed by a nightcap in the pub under our apartment and a few steps and we were in bed !||Each room very comfy and ensuite...||Tea and coffee in each room and a tunnocks teacake was a lovely touch with the tea and coffee !||Would highly recommend to anyone for chimes house apartment and old churches house hotel ....

A nice place in general, but lacking in several key amenities. There is no air conditioning or fan, and the rooms are on the third floor of the building (remember, heat rises), so there's no way to cool off if it's hot outside. Furthermore, the hotel promises wifi, but the signal's so weak that you have to log back in once a minute. If you haven't purchased access to the areas on the second floor then you can't even sit downstairs where the signal is strong enough for continuous access. It's quite frustrating.

Visited Chimes House Annex for an overnight stay with friends as there were no rooms left in the Old Churches Hotel, which was a pity as it was a lovely quaint little Hotel which was like a maze inside where the bedrooms were. The restraunt was lovely looking onto the Cathedral, with plenty on the buffet side with the usual cereal/yogurt/fruit/toast/croissants tea, juices and coffee to help yourself to. Fried breakfast was served which was adequate and tasty. Staff and Manager were very friendly as well as being professional.|The rooms in the Chimes House are not an Annex adjoining the Old Churches, but 4 apartments above a Pub which was accessed via a door next to the Pub on the other side of the square, saying that, there was no noise at all from the Pub so wouldn't let that put you off. Rooms were nice and big with tea/coffee and a couple of Tunnoch Teacakes. Bed was nice and big also but I found the room a little stuffy during the night and we weren't sure if windows would open and we did not want to disturb other guests by trying as they are the old sash type double glazed windows.|All in all it was a pleasant stay with a good breakfast althoughI would rather have stayed in the Hotel itself.|There is a beautiful little Chapel around the back of the Hotel which is worth seeing while there. Would come back again if in this neck of the woods.

It seems to have no public rooms at all. No Meet and greet reception without toiling upstairs to the cafe restaurant on upper floor. The 'Annex' is over the road and above a pub. No book of guidance and help in the bedroom but one on landing a floor below. The wi-fi is intermittent and of abysmal standard requiring a re-log on every few minutes. Over priced and understaffed. Would never return.

Lovely stay .....Caroline was very attentive to all our needs. Would love to see a roll top bath in situ to compliment the bathroom or even sacrifice a bedroom for a top bathroom. Then it would be perfect.....
