Lovely little cafe with seating area over looking the run way. My sons enjoyed lunch from the cafe while watching planes & helicopters take off. The seating area is fenced off for safety reasons. Toilets on site and plenty of free parking. Only down side was there was only one of each toilet and we had to queue.
Food is pricey but fresh (£4.95 for a toastie).
Will definitely return.

Great place for breakfast or lunch, amazing cakes and good prices. You get to see lots of planes taking off on a Saturday, so fun!

Tucked away coffee shop and delightfully different.

Good tea and dog friendly.

The breakfasts look popular and kiddy friendly with access to an outdoor area with picnic benches for plane spotting.

Will go again and try the food. 😀

Cafe was recomended as a "nice & friendly" place.
How wrong we were.
Only half the drinks served before "the regulars" pushed in and got served.
Dont be fooled by the pictures of the food at best its a cheap & nasty greasy spoon cafe.
Customer service is through the floor.
Presentation of zero with it literally shoved onto the table.
2 "co-pilot" breakfast
1 toast & jam
1 veggie saus & mushroom cob
3 coffees
£32.90.
To top it off the gang of old bikers who spread themselves out "reclaimed" their table (they werent sat at) from a family with young boys and started shouting across the room at each other making the entire experience awful.
I attended with my wife, daughter & grandaughter and left after 30 minutes from arrival.
Would I ever come back..... NO
Theres cafe's at East midlands airport that are better in everyway and far better service.

Third time I've tried to come here with my plane obsessed toddler and it’s closed, over an hour before 2:30pm and I drive over 40 minutes to get here! Very unreliable and upsetting for my 2 year old. I give up!

Best thing about it was all the light aeroplanes and helicopters landing and taking off. Food was brilliant, not many tables inside but a lot outside, as most people are watching the aeroplanes 😀

Great activity for our 1 year old daughter: she loved watching the planes/helicopters and Mummy and Daddy could have a nice breakfast as well! Very good value for money 🤩

Lovely place to go with family or on your own. The cafe garden is next to the airfield so you get to see the planes take off and land. The cafe staff are brilliant, the food is amazing, the coffee is great, all round a fantastic atmosphere, highly recommend if you need something to do over the weekend.
