Place was easy to find. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room while dated was clean and comfortable. When we asked for extra towels there was no problem and they gave them to us straight away. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. The hotel is not far from the Hastings football ground and is above the double dragon restaurant.| We heard no noise from the bar beloa and no smell of Chinese food.| Would stay again. Breakfast included was full English, we had extra toast at no extra cost, plenty of coffee or tea.

This was our second visit to Churchill’s Hotel so we knew what to expect. Some aspects of the Hotel are dated but we found everything to be in good working order . Our room was spacious, quiet and very clean. Complementary tray was plentiful with branded products used. We were at a private function in the evening and the Chinese buffet was very good indeed. Throughout our stay the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit chilly even with the radiators on but we did note that there was an electric heater in the wardrobe we could have also used. Breakfast is served in the function room and even though it was cooked well the choose is limited to cereal and full English. However, all in all a comfortable stay, very good value and if we are to visit Hastings again we certainly would choose to stay at the Churchill.

Churchills is superb in every way. Friendly, welcoming and efficient staff make check in and out a simple breeze. We were given a front door key and told it was fine to return to the hotel and let ourselves in at whatever time we liked - so easy and user friendly. ||||The room was clean, bright, comfortable and superbly equipped with water, kettle, tv, hairdryer and even usb charger sockets. There's a lovely big radiator so imagine it would be cosy in cooler weather but there's an extra oil-filled electric radiator in the wardrobe for extra heat if needed or an electric fan to cool the room in hot weather, though we didn't need either as the temperature was perfect for us. ||||And no dinky little teacups and plastic stirrers either but proper decent size mugs with teaspoons and a plentiful supply of milk, coffee, tea sugar and biscuits.....no short measures here for sure - fabulous 😊 ||||The ensuite bathroom is clean and well-equipped with an excellent shower and tastefully decorated. Compact but absolutely perfect and being in an older building the walls are solid and there is no noise from the en suite or other rooms either. || ||We had requested as quiet a double room as was available and my goodness we were not disappointed. Room 7 is perfect with a large bay window looking out at trees - not overlooked at all and totally quiet. We heard nothing except the odd seagull and bird singing in the trees. To be honest the hotel is located in a charming quiet residential area near the church so I suspect there is no problem with noise at any time in any room but we were certainly spoiled with the privacy and tranquil outlook over nothing but trees.||||The hotel is quiet yet so conveniently located for walking to Alexandra Park or into Hastings. Churchills' parking is safe and spacious. We didn't eat there because we were visiting friends locally but the restaurant downstairs looked immaculate and very inviting and we would definitely be tempted to try it if we are in Hastings again. And we did not hear any noise or get any cooking smells from the restaurant or kitchen or the bar.||||We have recommended this hotel to our friends living locally for other visitors to use and we would definitely stay again if we return.||||Thank you Churchills Hotel, you surpassed expectation and could not have done better for our overnight stay. 5 star without a doubt in our opinion 🤗

A restaurant with rooms. Located a mile away from the town centre of Hastings it's a great base for discovering the town. Our room was a fair size with a standard double bed which was comfortably firm and lots of storage available. Check in time was 1300, but we arrived early and were shown to our rooms. Very clean and daily housekeeping made sure we didn't go short of anything. The hotel only has 8 rooms and there is a small carpark located next to it (it's free). The staff are all polite and helpful and has a good cooked breakfast (if a little early for us).The restaurant gets quite busy, but amazing food (it's a Chinese restaurant) with very large portions. There is a bar there too, but quite expensive. The only little niggle was no 'do not disturb' signs for the doors. £260 for 3 nights.

We stayed for one night as a place to just sleep and it was very comfortable, room had a double and a single bed, clean and nice bay window ( new double glazing). Lots of tea and coffee in room. Bed was comfortable. Didn't try the Chinese food but breakfast was a full English, freshly cooked and very nice. Would stay again.

We had stayed here a few times over two years ago but sad to see how in need of renovation it now is. Window sills and frames are rotting. The overall decor is worn and needs renewing, torn chairs and shabby carpets. Room 3 has signs of water damage and damage to the ceiling. Long life milk in our room was sour and we couldn't use it. Even the restaurant food was not the usual standard with tough pork. ||We used to love our homely stay here and such a beautiful old house is deteriorating. ||We also found breakfast was extra £7.50 each a day, this appeared to be included on Booking.com. Poor quality sausages were as we remembered though.||Will not return unless improvements are made.

Basic Hotel but ok for one night. The hotel is over a Chinese Restaurant, which I didn’t try but was told by a friend is popular locally. Rooms are basic but clean. Breakfast was ok but I was a bit surprised to discover I could not have poached eggs, only fried or scrambled were available.
