I've travelled a fair bit over the years and to some gorgeous locations, but have never quite felt the urge to write a review on anywhere, that is until our one night stay at Church View Guest House. We were attending a wedding just outside Grantham and booked a room and what a little gem it is. Classical decor might not be to everyone's taste, but the facilities were more than enough. The absolute top USP of this place is Peter the owner, thoroughly charming and chatty, he completely made the stay for us. From meeting us at the door on arrival to serving our really tasty breakfast, nothing was too much trouble! We would definitely recommend it, without doubt! Thank you Peter for your wonderful hospitality and warm welcome!!

Good bedding and a nice sized room by European standards. The room was adjacent to the street, however the traffic noise was minimal. We were on the second floor of a three floor building, with no elevator. The breakfast was cooked to order and it was plenty good. The owner is a mature and personable gentleman, former army man, Queens guard, and Bobbie, and has stories to tell if you ask him. The shower has a spot water heater and needs about five minutes to heat up. Everything was positive and no complaints. We found the price to be fair.

I really like this place! The room was cool, attractively furnished and spotless. As a vegetarian, I had plenty of choice: ample cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt plus an interesting choice of speciality teas. I had a vegetarian cooked breakfast and there was toast and preserves galore.||Della and Peter are the perfect hosts. I thank you both for making me feel so welcome.

Stayed here for a mid week meeting and Peter and his wife were fantastic hosts. .. Nothing was too much trouble and he is a great source of interesting and funny stories. .. Breakfast was absolutely lovely, local produce cooked to perfection. .. If looking for accommodation in or around Grantham this place should be considered a must!

Located near the centre of Grantham within walking distance of the train/bus station. Spotlessly clean. Excellent hosts. Close to the A1 and A52. Very good value for money and individual breakfast menus cooked fresh. Limited parking around the area. Would highly recommend.

Had such a lovely experience here recently. Peter and Della were very welcoming and very open to chat. Very lovely people and the room was lovely too. Highly recommend. Will be back!

I strongly recommend staying at this B&B, very tidy and clean. This B&B as plenty of character and the owns are very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is amazing, would definitely stay here again😊
