Welcoming staff.|Clean quiet rooms |Sadly some improvement needed.|A refurbishment as rooms and furniture are dated.|The bwd was big and comfortable but it was 2 single beds pushed together and there was a ridge between them.|The Duvet was also too.small.for such a big bed .|The contr.on the shower was broken.|The side of the bath panelmwas chipped at floor level .filed screw holes in the bathroom tiles clear to be seem.|The curtain rods were badly chipped|But we enjoyed out stat never the less as it was just a base to sleep in.|We would go back. As it was a pleasent stay despite everything and the price was good

After a couple of years not providing Christmas Day Lunch, the Citrus started again this year!||Pre lock down we were regular Christmas Day customers, so we're really happy that they resumed service.||Today 16 of us went and once again the service and care was excellent. ||The food was excellent, catering for vegetarians and gluten free as well.||The choices of starters, mains and desserts was amazing.||The atmosphere was calm but still Festive.||The staff were all so helpful and welcoming.||If you're thinking about next year, I episode highly recommend.||Thank you.

This hotel is Dated, noisy, un-clean and very uncomfortable.|The rooms are very dated like stepping back into the 80s. The corridor and rooms have a very odd unclean type smell.|Beds are old and need replacing, pillows even worse, no plug sockets near to beds, no ceiling lights, all lamps with Dull bulbs. Heating is questionable, the heating dial is covered over with gorilla tape for some reason. Bathroom clearly hadn't been cleaned properly, had to clean it before use,|They don't service the rooms at all once you are booked in. If need extra tea bags coffee or anything you have to go and ask at reception. Towels are not changed, bins not emptied during your stay. TV remote doesn't work properly. You can't have room windows open due to noise, you might as well try to sleep in the middle of the VERY busy road outside. No Aircon in rooms.|Breakfast is basic with cheap bacon and even cheaper sausages.|Bar area needs a good deep clean too, all material chairs very stained.|Very limited staff if you can find one that is.|Wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Took 33 people with Grand UK as a Tour Manager. We were there Monday. To Friday as our base. Rooms clean and comfortable. Food excellent. Staff Chrissy Simon and the team looked after us well. Just needs outside seating. Everyone enjoyed the stay. Has a small Gym. But could do with a swimming pool

Yes outdated hotel but clean rooms with comfortable beds and welcoming staff. E mailed me a couple of days before arrival informing me of restaurant closures. Slight hic cup re Restaurant opening times but easily resolved by discussing with the staff.|Huge room. Yes, tired decor but very clean. Tea & coffee in room. Lovely 2 night stay with the dogs for a local dog show and already booked for 2 more stays.

Stayed in the accessible room, big enough to get a wheelchair in, bathroom fine but has a bath not wet room, I knew this beforehand as it was only for one night's stay. The soap dispenser above the sink is too high for wheelchair user.|We had an evening meal in the bar/restaurant, very nice, average price. Welcomed in reception and the restaurant by the staff which is nice. Would stay again. Parking free. Big comfy bed, tea, coffee and TV.

I really enjoyed my week-long stay here, the rooms were nice and big. The bed was alright. Nice and quiet out the back with a view over a field. TV, WiFi all good. Breakfast was a good selection too, and the staff were friendly and helpful, a great stay here..
