What a wonderful hotel immaculately presented and very homely and comfortable.|We stayed for the weekend in a balcony room. On arrival we were met my Christian who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. From drinks in the garden to evening meals nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were kept impeccably by the housekeeper again extremely friendly. The room itself had been refurbished and was tastefully appointed with the suite having large shower cubicle and was non slip which so often missed. Towels a plenty and serviced daily. Meals were outstanding from home made granola at breakfast to a wonderful three course evening meal it was absolutely exceptional. We would highly recommend it.

This was our fourth visit for afternoon tea. The staff are brilliant - so friendly, warm and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is gorgeous, with a lovely selection of cakes. The scones are superb. We just love it here. Today we arrived soaked and a fire was lit and we were made so welcome.

Went for lunch here, what a fabulous meal, friendly service, attentive, well worth a visit We trailed around Grange Over Sands looking for lunch and stumbled across this hotel, how happy we're we. If ever we're in the area again, we shall visit.

Exceptional. Stopped here for lunch and sat on the terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens and Morecambe Bay beyond. Our food was faultless.

Well we have waited over a year to visit and it was certainly worth it . Great food, super friendly staff and a great outdoor eating space. Will definitely be back.

We stopped here on the way to somewhere so we could have a brunch/lunch stop. I’d seen good reviews online and we weren’t disappointed! |The menu choice was so good, something different and not the usual boring lunch options you usually see places. The food was presented SO well and it tasted so good! |I absolutely recommend a stop here for some food - we ate in the lounge and the view was lovely too. |Also, service was great and wouldn’t have asked for more.

We have returned several times to stay at this lovely family run hotel. The rooms are absolutely spotless and ours had a balcony with a fantastic view across the estuary. The food at both breakfast and the evening meal are of a very high standard. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating.

A wonderful stay. This hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the southern lakes. Grange is a lovely town with lots of independent shops. |From the moment you arrive at Clare House you feel relaxed. Always a warm and friendly welcome. Food is outstanding and the rooms are extremely comfortable and very clean. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you enjoy excellent food a relaxing time and superb views. A real gem.
