The hotel itself is nice, rooms lovely and the staff very friendly and attentive. The reason I have marked it down is the wheelchair accessibility is not as good as expected. There is a ramp at the front door but then quite difficult to get in the door with wheelchair. We then found the lift was too small for the chair so I had to stand with frame and walk to the room which was very difficult. Once inside, bathroom was not adapted so no grab rails. The rooms are listed as having grab rails so be aware if you need them the hotel may not be suitable.

Stayed 1 night whilst visiting family. The room are clean and tidy. The bed was comfy although the curtains in the room were coming off the rails. We paid £5.50 each extra for a cooked breakfast but in hindsight with the choice of continental breakfast we didn't really need it.

This isn’t a 4 star hotel by any means it is however a perfectly adequate place to stay and with a very pleasant and helpful staff. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower was adequate and the cooked breakfast as good as anywhere.
The most impressive part of this is that all of this was delivered for less than £60!!!
I would certainly stay here again as it was ideal in every respect for the purpose of this trip.

Misleading website and information.
Booked a room here as website states ample parking - this needs amending immediately. Upon arrival the very small car park was full - phoned the hotel and was told to just 'pull up anywhere' and that 'the council shouldn't check' on a weekend.
First time in Morecambe and completely unfamiliar with the area, restrictions etc. Staff unfortunately very unhelpful and so I went home instead!!!!
Very disappointed with response via email from Deputy Manager - staff lack empathy, customer service skills and I would have liked to discuss further but I'm still waiting on a phone call almost a week later....

Staff are friendly and helpful. They clearly work hard to keep this place afloat, but it's a tired hotel in need of refurbishment. Would have been OK but we stayed on a Saturday night, which meant 'Kev's Karaoke' blasting out tuneless nonsense from the hotel basement until midnight. Impossible to sleep through. So don't book on a Saturday unless you love Karaoke, or are hard of hearing. Cheap prices though, and cooked breakfast (£5.50 supplement) was decent.

Great spacious apartment. Friendly staff, breakfast good. Hotel really nice. Apartment needs a bit of a revamp, tired in places and was freezing cold until the heating came on at 6pm. Breakfast staff good, friendly. Free parking. Would come again for sure.

Really enjoyed my stay in a spotlessly clean, comfortable room with lovely sea view in a fantastic location. The hotel is a little tired but everything is clean comfortable and very good value for the price. It had everything I needed (I especially enjoyed a warm bath after a long walk) and the bed was comfortable.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was fine.
Only quibbles were that the mirrors in the room must have been put up by a very short person as they are all extremely low. And I would expect proper coffee, not instant, plus a bit more choice of fresh fruit at breakfast.
I enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

Have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and had pleasant weekends there.....but it seems that this has changed with new management. The room was clean, decently sized and came with tea/coffee making facilities, towels and toiletries.|The problem was the breakfast restaurant.|Despite having paid for full English breakfasts, we were refused and asked to pay a further £5.50 each. The staff were quite vociferous and aggressive over this and we were made to feel that we were trying to get something we hadn't paid for.|More worrying, as my wife has food allergies, was the allergen matrix that was 3 years out of date. This is a legal requirement, and none of the staff saw it as a problem.|Also, the bar staff pull down the shutters and close the bar at 10pm.....not good if you are meeting up with friends and like to chat with a drink.|The staff appear to have scant regard for their customers and could benefit from customer skills training. |My wife and i will return to Morecambe but will avoid this hotel.
