My wife and I were advised of this Guest House a few years ago and have used their hospitality more than a few times per year since.We tend to take long weekend breaks and I defy anyone to come up with a better place to stay when in this resort.We were staying there a week ago and found two couples who book for a full week, and these couples were the norm.|| Booking a few weeks ahead is recommended, there are three ensuite double bedded rooms, all are spacious,well appointed with plenty of storage space. Google...classic lodge great yarmouth... or||visit their website...www.classiclodge.com for pictures and info.||You get what it says on the label.Guests have their own keys, the car park is secure off street and not in view of pedestrians, the distance to the promenade cannot be more than 200 yards, trouser press on the landing,hair dryer in room, ditto ironing board and electric iron, soap and shampoo dispensers in the showers,lovely clean white towels and flannel, and I nearly forgot..a full English breakfast which is a delight to devour, there is always a selection of fresh fruit.Your hosts are both affable and also knowledgeable regarding the surrounding town,it's history and the country side.

Wow what a amazing hotel! Very beautiful and looked after by a wonderful couple. We feel like we have been looked after by loving parents. We did not want for anything as nothing was too much trouble. We will definatly stay here again! We have been coming to Great Yarmouth for a few years now to visit relatives in caister and we work our visits around Malcolm and Donna having availability. We will not go anywhere else because everything at the Classic Lodge is spot on, from the breakfast to the ensuite rooms, of which there are only three, to the private secure car park. It is situated a couple of minutes walk from the sea front and a five minute walk to the town centre where the market serves mushy peas and chips. We are really picky travellers who sometimes wish we had stayed at home, but this never happens at the classic lodge. I cannot recommend it enough.

A last minute decision turned out to be a great idea. On arrival,was greeted by the husband and wife of a very well kept victorian house. Many original features kept and our room was amazing. We were well looked after and will definitely be recommending it to all our friends and be coming back.

We have stayed here a few times and it never disappoints. Malcolm and Donna are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. There are only three en suite rooms and breakfast is the best you will find. Private secure parking which is an added bonus.

Loved staying here, the rooms are spotless and spacious and have everything you need. The breakfast was outstanding and the proprietors are lovely people who make you very welcome and go above and beyond to make your stay a good one.

Went to this hotel for 2days lovely hotel owner's were a lovley couple very welcome rooms amazing breakfast was very good got variety bed very comfortable we will return highly recommend its not every far to walk to the beach car parking at the back of the house very good .
