We really enjoyed our stay at Clifton Cottage! It’s right next to the West Highland Way, and only a few minutes walk to the pub and restaurants. Carmen and Tam (the owners) are very accommodating and made us full Scottish breakfasts in the morning. The rooms are spotless, the beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of hot water. This was the best place we’ve stayed on our trek so far!

Just spent 7 nights at this B & B. We couldn't have felt more welcome. Tam and Carmela are wonderful hosts. Breakfast never to be forgotten. Rooms clean and tea, coffee, biscuits and cuppa soup available also water bottles and soft drinks in fridge in the bedroom. I also liked the fact that I could book direct. Thank you both.

Absolutely amazing place to stay right on the West Highland Way. Idyllic surroundings, peaceful off road setting and right on the route with no additional steps required! Tam and Cam couldn't have done enough for us and were so incredibly accommodating. The facilities were everything we needed, cosy and warm. If you have an electric car they also have a charger you can use. An additional facility that was the icing on the cake was a massage hut right outside our accommodation and we both managed to get a wonderful massage from the lovely Pat!! The local area has a petrol station, tourist shops, cafes, a pub, fish and chips shop and different restaurant options...oh and don't forget it also has 2 train stations for easy access anywhere else you want to go. A really good stop if heading this way.

Carmen and Tom go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at ease at their warm cottage. The rooms are simple, but lovingly stocked with tea making facilities, refrigerators with complementary snacks and drinks. The hosts have out much thought into everything: from the information sheet on the wall to the huge West Highlands Trail and Scotland folder in each room. Breakfast was amazing, yummy and plentiful. The love and care that goes into this place is clearly felt.

Stayed one night while walking the West Highland Way. I've stayed hundreds of nights in hotels but this was my first true B&B stay.

Tam and Carmen were wonderful and breakfast was delicious. Great hosts!

We received such a warm welcome and friendly service. The room was clean, warm and contained more than what we expected. The hosts did everything they could to make us feel welcome and provide us with everything we needed. I would recommend to all travellers.

Great option for someone hiking the West Highland Way and stopping over in Tyndrum; 40 ft. off the trail. The couple running this couldn’t be more accommodating and helpful. Had an early start the next day and they were glad to serve breakfast early; and a very good breakfast it was. We were half way through our week and needed some laundry done - no problem, they handled it. A very nice pub and restaurant were just a short walk away with good food. We got good “intel” on the trail we’d be on the next day and good recommendations for lunch.
