Fantastic site. Facilities were 5 star. The bar and food were very good. Great sized pitch for the caravan. Big thanks to the girls on the bar, making the baby very welcome. Also Lee and the lady on reception. Booked to come back already. Thanks for a lovely week. See you again soon.

We hired a pine lodge for 3 nights just after Christmas. The lodge was immaculately clean and extremely well equipped with quality furnishings, appliances and kitchen equipment. The decor was near perfect. Beds were very comfy. The hot tub was huge and lovely and warm. Huge deck area with a beautiful Norfolk view. The bar and cafe was really nice with a pizza oven producing the best pizzas we’d ever had. The site is perfectly placed to get to local attractions and the Broads. I really cannot fault this place in any way and will definitely come back. Fabulous.

What a fabulous site. By contrast we stayed at a site in Kent which we rated a 1 star. It was such a relief to get to Clippesby. Family run site who know how to do it. Great, generous pitches, our 40 foot RV easily fitted. Beautiful landscaping in a forest setting. The clubhouse is to die for. Huge space, roaring log burners, great bar and shop and the food top class. Home cooked food by the ‘Ladies’ and Sunday lunch is a must. Good location for the Broads, coast and Norwich. Keep up the good work Clippesby

Our stay at Clippesby hall was lovely, the site and ground are beautiful, the shower blocks are clean and well looked after.

My main negative for this trip was the food in the on site restaurant, after seeing they had a Gozney Pizza oven I had high expectations for a decent quality pizza. However I’ve honestly had better frozen ones from Iceland and given that paying £15 (ball park) for this it was a major let down.

Haven’t said this I will stay again in the future.

Restaurant signature rolls very good. Coffee great. |Excellent Sunday roast. Although booking recommended as it can get busy. Nice grounds and outdoor seating area. |Holiday makers place so can get lots of children, of whom some are allowed to run around the restaurant! |Well worth a visit.

Campsite is lovely we arrived in winter and planned to eat in the restaurant for the Friday and Saturday night only to find it doesn’t allow dogs. So disappointing. We have never stayed at a campsite that has a restaurant on site and doesn’t allow dogs.

Unfortunately because of this we won’t be returning, which is a shame as we loved the campsite

Fantastic site with friendly staff and great amenities. We came off-season for a few days and loved the tranquility of the location and convenience of the onsite restaurant. We had breakfast and dinner there on some days and found there to be enough variety on the menu and consistently friendly interactions with staff either at reception or at the restaurant.

I visited Bracecamp for a meal booked for 1pm and the venue was far from busy but they had already run out of gammon and peas although they did offer salad as an alternative as my friend is unable to eat mushy peas.|Two of us had the most awful fish and chips. The batter was extraordinarily thick and quite greasy, hiding a thin piece of fillet with bones. The chips had a strange texture and tasted like reconstituted potato. When we complained about the batter the response was”I’ll tell the chef and we buy in the fish”.|Service was acceptable but we did have to order at the bar.|I won’t be going back.
