I genuinely don't know where to start, I have never felt so unwelcome anywhere. Turned up and was told breakfast is at 09.30 hrs and pay now please. We paid. I am on crutches and my foot in a moon boot. I made them aware of this prior to arrival. The front door to the property was open, very disconcerting. The tiled floors with unsecured mats are a serious accident waiting to happen for anyone with mobility issues. The bathroom is horrendous, tiled floors and no bath mat. The bed creaks like it is about to collapse and we were right beside the road. The following morning turned up for breakfast and the choice was a fry. That's it. No breakfast cereal, no yogurt, no fruit. Told the waitress, I have an allergy to a chemical common in cooking oils, I cannot eat a fry. 'Why don't you wait until I tell you what's on the fry and you can tell me what you don't want?'
Friend interjected, 'no she cannot eat a fry'. I asked for a poached egg on Toast and honestly the response was so bad, my friend told them not to bother with any breakfast for them. We didn't go there next morning. Last day, I was told despite the crutches and moon boot and our being the only people there for breakfast that we 'had to move to the window'. Two orange juice were prepoured, I don't drink orange juice. The full fry was apparently delicious. The coffee was undrinkable. Tasted of absolutely nothing. I have never felt so unwelcome anywhere and with a little allergy awareness, politeness, the place could be great.

Stayed in the B and B and honestly, I have never felt so unwelcome anywhere in my entire life. Disconcertly on arrival, the front door was open. Currently on crutches, made them aware of this, the tiles with unsecured mats are a serious accident waiting to happen especially in the bathroom. Arrival was, here's the key, pay now and breakfast is 09.30 in the morning. No cereal, no yogurt, no fruit and no apparent understanding of allergies. The bed creaked like it was going to collapse. The noise from people leaving on Sunday night was horrendous. The B and B is located right beside a busy main road. Last day risked breakfast and the wrath of the waiting staff again, sat in a deserted restaurant for 7-8 minutes when waitress appeared and insisted that the person on crutches get up and walk to a window seat where she had decided we would be drinking orange juice. I don't drink orange juice. Apparently the full fry was delicious, I had poached egg on Toast and no coffee as it was undrinkable. Got one from a service station down the road. The rooms are a good size, clean and warm but customer service here leaves a lot to be desired. Beds are not remade, no biscuits or replenished tea or coffee. Not the usual B&B. Potential to be a great spot but honestly, very inhospitable.

We stayed here as guests of our good friends after we all had an excellent meal in the Golf Club Restaurant. It really felt like a home from home. Comfortable lounge, dining room and good kitchen facilities. Plenty of storage space, tea and coffee and tv in room. Car parking right outside the door too. The staff were very friendly too. Thanks guys!

Delicious food served by friendly staff in lovely surroundings. Sunday lunch with a choice of a small meal was very tasty indeed. The fired breakfast the following morning was just what was need for our onward journey.||The en-suite bedroom was very clean with a spacious batheroom and large shower. The room was warm and cosy with a tv and coffee/tea making facilities in the room. The kitchen was very well set out with an adjoining dining room. The lounge had a lovely open fire and was also very nice.||My only negative was the road outside was very noisy and busy however it didnt keep me awake long. Thanks you for a lovely stay

From the outside the building looks like an ordinary house but inside it is so clean and tidy. The rooms are spotless and the bed was so comfortable. We only stayed one night but we will be back. There are 7 rooms and a large sitting room, dining room and kitchen. You can go over to the Golf club, beside the b&b for a cooked breakfast but as they were removating at the golf club we were supplied with all that was necessary for an ordinary uncooked breakfast and our bill was reduced by ÂŖ10. The owners are so nice and welcoming. A great place to stay.

The room was comfortable and clean and well presented. Great hot shower. There was no hairdryer, but the staff in the golf club were able to bring me one. The bed was a bit creaky, so everytime one of us turned they woke the other. And it was very hot - in the night the temperature was unbearable but the heating controller wouldn't adjust. So we opened the windows onto the road with lots of noise. In the morning we boiled the kettle for tea but there was no milk. Overall, a decent room for the money but needs a little bit of work to get more stars.

We had a dinner party here with a group of 25 people, enjoyed all the food courses, roast meat was particularly excellent! Also very reasonably priced for the quality! |Only 2 small faults we had no dessert spoons or coffee spoons and had to request both, the other issue we had was noisy party with loud music on the floor above, but minor faults which did not spoil the evening. I would definitely return!
